Find out more about the most luxurious ship at sea, the Regent Seven Seas Explorer.

The Regent Seven Seas Explorer was officially welcomed to the Regent fleet on the 13th July 2016 in Monaco. Christened by Princess Charlene of Monaco, this signified the grand opulence of the Explorer and hinted at the exquisite design features available on board.

Activities

When it comes to activities available on board, guests won’t be disappointed with the array of enriching experiences available. There’s traditional favourites including a library and card room and of course the sublime swimming pool with ample sun bed space and two luxurious whirl pools to melt away your troubles. However, the Explorer has something more unique available with its Culinary Arts Kitchen offering guests a chance to get hands on and learn new recipes and cooking skills from the talented Regent Chefs. On selected sailings, guests can even join the Chefs as they go ashore to gather ingredients for the evening menu, giving tips on how to pick the freshest and best quality items and sharing information on how they’d use the ingredients to create the dishes.  The Canyon Ranch SpaClub is also a true highlight of this stunning ship, featuring an array of treatments including seaweed wraps and ayurverdic and aromatherapy massages. For guests that like to be pampered then the salon offers manicures, pedicures, hair care and other luxurious beauty treatments. For guests who don’t want to skimp on their exercising at sea, then the Fitness Suite and Recreation Areas on the ship will certainly come in handy. Equipped with state of the art machines, the fitness centre has treadmills, weight benches and a Nautilus machine. Qualified Canyon Ranch fitness experts even provide several exercise classes throughout your cruise. When you’ve worked up a sweat and your muscles are aching you’ll feel like you’ve earned your reward which is a blissful soak in the infinity pool which is the most impressive pool we’ve ever seen at sea.

Entertainment

The Explorer has four different lounges; the Meridian Lounge, Connoisseur Club, Explorer Lounge and Observation Lounge. The Meridian Lounge provides a great place to gather for drinks before or after a show in the theatre, the Connoisseur Club is an elegant hideaway with comfortable leather chairs where you can enjoy a fine cigar with friends and the Explorer Lounge provides guests with live music on an intimate stage. The Observation Lounge is the place to go for guests wanting to enjoy panoramic views from inside the ship with it’s floor to ceiling windows and wonderfully comfortable seating where you could easily while away hours just enjoying the ocean and port views. Of course for the finest entertainment on board, guests will find themselves heading to the Constellation Theatre which pays homage to the golden era of Hollywood with its decadent decor and intricate entry-way mosaic. Guests will enjoy watching the shows from the elegant cabaret-style seating.
