Is there a greater adventure than discovering the unbelievably rich nature of our planet or the treasures of exotic cultures? Whether in the ice landscapes of the Antarctic or in the rainforests of the Amazon region, whether visiting the Inuit or the home territory of the Indians – with the BREMEN, you will encounter the wonders of this world on spectacular routes. Thanks to the highest ice class for passenger ships (E4), the BREMEN penetrates even dense pack ice. Her shallow draught and enormous manoeuvrability enable her to sail through narrow fjords and meandering rivers. And whenever the BREMEN is faced with natural limits in the shape of reefs or hidden bays, you will continue your expedition with the Zodiacs. These versatile and powerful inflatables allow you to access even the most remote and unexplored paradise, spot endemic animals up close and get to know people and cultures on an in-depth level. On an “Expedition Knowledge”, you will experience a fascinating intellectual adventure. In the company of experts, you will see classical destinations and their art, architecture, economy and politics in a new light within the framework of these study cruises. Enjoy these unforgettable experiences together with a maximum of 164 guests aboard the BREMEN, our 4-star* expedition ship. We look forward to meeting you.

Everything looks different when you see it in one of the most privileged ways on earth. Everything is so much more memorable, when you are relaxed and ready to appreciate it to the full. This state of mind is the perfect way to experience some of the most distinctive destinations our planet has to offer.
+South America
South America is a continent of incredible contrasts. Cosmopolitan cities are dwarfed by cloud topped mountains and great plateaux; evidence of ancient civilisations mingle with vibrant contemporary culture in a land so special, so alien, that a visit is never forgotten.
+Mediterranean
The warmth of the Mediterranean climate is matched only by the legendary hospitality of its friendly, cultured people. Hardly surprising that this diverse area has long been a favourite with the most discerning cruise guests – and who are we to break with tradition?
+Northern Europe
Ignored by all too many voyagers in favour of the resorts of Southern Europe, Northern Europe has so much to offer: some of the world’s most exclusive and refined capitals, icily beautiful fjords and coastlines, and glimpses of the legendary midnight sun.
+Alaska
A fifth of the size of the whole USA, Alaska is the last great wilderness, a tranquil, icy paradise where you feel far removed from the realities of everyday. Here you really can escape and experience the big skies from the intimate surroundings of a small ship.
+New England and the ColonialCoast
Long celebrated as the most anglicised and historic area of America, New England is also famous for its stunning autumnal scenes, clap-board houses, rugged coastlines and, of course, whale watching.
+Far East(Grand Asia Pacific)
The sights, the sounds, the smells of those incredibly ancient, yet sometimes incredibly modern, lands must be experienced to be believed. A visit to the Orient is one of the great travel experiences of life.
+Caribbean and the Panama Canal
Beautiful islands with their peculiar sugar loaf mountains, an abundance of fragrant spice trees and stunning white beaches. Balmy relaxed days in the sun – and then perhaps rouse yourself to be awed by the so impressive Panama Canal.
