Small enough to reach out-of-the-way ports, yet large enough to make light work of crossing the great oceans, Discovery and Voyager avoid the excesses of today’s mega-liners. Instead they have been expressly conceived for our special brand of discovery cruising to create an atmosphere on board that is friendly and relaxed.
During the voyage you will be accompanied by around 550 like-minded passengers on Voyager, with 650 on Discovery. Complementing the talks given by there own lecturers, who will preview the destinations ahead, the programme features historians, explorers, naturalists and diplomats, who will share their expertise, anecdotes and interests with you.

The moment you step on board Discovery, you'll feel a genuine warmth in the welcome of her crew and staff. On the bridge are the Captain, with him is Captain John Brocklehurst, with many years experience on the Bridge of cruise liners around the world.
They are supported by a team of Officers from Europe and over 300 friendly international crew members. Cabin and restaurant staff hail predominantly from the Philippines. All Leisure Holidays Limited are proud to introduce a new addition to the Voyages of Discovery fleet – Voyager. Formerly the Alexander von Humboldt, she has been extensively upgraded and will be joining the ever-popular Discovery in November 2012 to provide an even wider choice of itineraries to destinations worldwide.
Voyager, built by Spanish yard Union Navale le Levante in 1990, is a spacious and well-appointed vessel offering 278 cabins, 30 of which have outside balconies, open seating dining in three restaurants and the personal service and comfort levels that have been the hallmark of the cruises since 2003. Carrying just 550 passengers, Voyager has all the amenities and facilities of a larger liner, whilst offering the convenience and flexibility of a small ship. She is able to visit and berth alongside where others have to pass by, yet is able to traverse the world’s oceans with ease. On board the passengers will be able to relax in the comfortable public lounges, enjoy a drink in atmospheric Harry’s Bar and in the sunshine on deck at the Lido Bar, or read a good book in the well-stocked library.
The perfect partner for Discovery, Voyager joins the well-established and popular liner Discovery and will offer the same warm welcome and friendly ambience that the passengers expect, but with open seating dining and the option of a balcony cabin.
