Sales Advisor

We have positions available in our Swansea HQ

Due to Company expansion, Cruise Nation are looking to hire professional highly motivated staff who have an attention to detail.

Cruise Nation is looking for dynamic individuals with either Call Centre Sales or Travel experience, an excellent telephone manner and the ability to deliver exceptional customer service is essential.

The Job Package

Salary will be dependent on your experience, though an uncapped bonus structure will enable performing Cruise Sales Advisors to earn up to £40,000 per annum. Shifts are rota based and the office operates between 09:00 to 21:00, 7 days a week. Please note, you will be required to work weekends and bank holidays.

Your role

With the role of Cruise Sales Advisor, you’ll be responsible for taking control of hitting a very achievable target, ensuring you are effective and timely responding to both email and telephone enquiries and converting them into sales using the highest standards of customer service. There is no cold calling or outbound calling required (Only chasing up potential bookings that customers agree to).

Required Skills & Experience

We are seeking individuals who are driven, self-motivated and hungry for sales. Experience in the travel sector and especially in cruises is desirable but not necessary. A great phone manner and excellent communication is needed with the ability to capture customers in making a direct booking. What’s important to us is that you have a passion and interest in the travel industry and a willingness to learn and develop with us as the company grows.

Key responsibilities

  • Achieving personal targets and KPI’s
  • Answering inbound telephone calls
  • Responding to email enquiries and live chat
  • Creating call backs to potential customers
  • Using our in-house travel system to provide customers with quotes for packages including cruise, flights and hotel stays
  • Utilising every opportunity to up sell to enhance the customer holiday experience
  • Delivering excellent customer service with customers and building rapport
