Following your 2 night complimentary Miami stay, you will embark on the gorgeous Eurodam in Fort Lauderdale for a 10-night full-board cruise discovering the unique southern Caribbean. Your first port of call will be Half Moon Cay, Holland America’s own private island in the Bahamas, full of tropical wonders and sun-kissed beaches, you will then enjoy a day at sea getting in total relax mode and enjoying everything Eurodam has to offer. Your next port to discover is Oranjestad, capital of the Dutch island of Aruba with its colourful Dutch Colonial 'gingerbread' houses. Your next port is Willemstad, Curaçao. This precious island has a good mixture of history and modernism and is almost as old as a more famous Dutch settlement—it was founded in 1634, just 10 years after New Amsterdam, later called New York.

You will then have another day at sea as we sail towards the infamous Panama Canal, when we think of the Panama Canal, the image that may come to mind is of the world’s huge tankers and cruise ships passing through a series of locks. That, however, reflects only one aspect of this part of the world. As ships travel from the Atlantic to the Pacific, they also pass colonial towns, historic fortresses and manmade lakes that are today home to sanctuaries for hundreds of different animal and plant species. One of the highlights is the vast Gatún Lake, formed in 1912, the lake includes some 20 miles of the 48-mile route that ships follow through the Panama Canal.

Your next port is Colon which lies on the stunning Caribbean coast of Panama, where unparalleled beaches and lush tropical scenery are de rigueur. Your final port of call is Puerto Limón a coastal town in Costa Rica, it is a perfect base from which to explore all the attractions and activities, you're never far from a rain forest or outdoor adventure in Costa Rica.

Finally, you will have the last 2 days at sea to top up your tan and relax onboard Eurodam before sailing to Fort Lauderdale where you will disembark for your flight home from Miami.
