Cruises to Khor Al Fakkan
KHOR AL FAKKAN
Khor Al Fakkan (or Khor Fakkan) is situated along the Gulf of Oman and is the second-largest town on the east coast of the United Arab Emirates after Fujairah. Khor Fakkan belongs to the ultra-conservative emirate of Sharjah but is actually surrounded by the emirate of Fujairah. Khor Fakkan enjoys healthy tourism thanks to its well-developed white sandy beaches and coral reefs, but tourism has been held back slightly by the ban on the sale and consumption of alcohol. The climate is most comfortable between November and April with daytime temperatures ranging between 18 and 30 degrees. The temperature can reach 40 degrees during the daytime in July and August.
