The largest of Abu Dhabi’s eight Desert Islands, Sir Bani Yas Island gives visitors the chance to experience a hidden island paradise of adventurous activities, abundant wildlife and incredible scenery. Situated in the Persian Gulf, the island boasts a balmy year-round climate, with temperatures climbing to over 40°C in June and July. Known as one of the best-kept secrets in the Gulf, the island is a nature lover's paradise, with most of the land being included in the Arabian Wildlife Park. Passengers explore the colourful underwater world of the island on snorkelling and diving adventures or keep their eyes peeled in the wildlife park for cheetahs, giraffes and gazelles.

Muscat is the capital city of Oman and provides tourists a unique blend of traditional and modern. Compared to other major cities in the Gluf, Muscat remains very low-key. You won't find any skyscrapers and even the cities office blocks retain the traditional Arab style of architecture. Muscat is undoubtedly at the heart of Oman and now over a quarter of the countries inhabitants live there and it's four times the size of the next largest city, Salalah.
