DAY 6 - CRUISE GLACIER BAY Admire the beauty of this American National Park from the comfort of your cruise ship. Stand on deck or sit on your own balcony as you get up close to the magnificent natural formations. You’ll have ample viewing time and you may even witness giant chunks of ice break- ing off into the bay below. DAY 7 - SITKA Picturesque Sitka is thought to be one of the most beautiful cities in Southeast Alaska, sitting opposite the snow-capped Mount Edgecumbe. DAY 8 - SKAGWAY Skagway has a colourful history, it was the starting place for gold rush stam- peders in 1897. Today, it’s one of the most interesting and popular towns to visit in the Inside Passage. DAY 9 - JENEAU Juneau is the capital city of Alaska and the second largest city in the United States by area. Today it's famous for gold mining and also for its breathtak- ing beautiful glaciers and stunning views of both water and mountains. DAY 10 - KETCHIKAN Ketchikan, is known as "The Salmon Capital of the World." Set in the south- ern most entrance to Alaska's famed Inside Passage it offers some of the most jaw-droppingly beautiful wilder- ness in the world. DAY 11 - AT SEA Spend the day at sea discovering all the entertainment and activities on board Carnival Legend DAY 12 - VANCOUVER Spend a night in Vancouver on return from your cruise. Feel free to explore before your welcome meeting with your tour group. After introductions, your CEO will review the details of your tour. DAY 13 - VANCOUVER / VICTORIA Enjoy a stop at Stanley Park, often voted as one of the greatest city parks in the world. This 1,000-acre peninsula filled with luscious gardens, beaches, woodlands, and miles of trails is a highlight of Vancouver's downtown. Then visit Gastown, Vancouver's oldest neighbourhood, filled with Victorian buildings and cobblestone streets and is one of the liveliest in the city. It's rich in Canuck culture, food, and fashion. You will then board a scenic ferry to Victoria, where you’ll take an orientation walk with your CEO. He/she will give you some tips on finding things like supermarkets, main squares, and ATMs. For more specific or in-depth information, an official guided tour is recommended. DAY 14 - VICTORIA Today is free for optional activities. You can cruise the sea in a Zodiac boat in search of marine wildlife such as gray whales, sea lions, otters, seals, porpoises, and killer whales. Or visit the Butchart Gardens which is a famous National Historic Site of Canada. You might even visit the Royal British Columbia Museum, filled with local human and natural British Columbian history. The BC Royal Museum always has a unique cultural and artistic exhibit on showcase. DAY 15 - VICTORIA / WHISTLER Catch the ferry back to the mainland and drive the scenic Sea-to-Sky Highway to the village of Whistler, host of some of the events of the 2010 Winter Olympics. Here we visit the Squamish Lil’wat Cultural Centre on a G Adventures for Good experience. In the picturesque setting of Canada’s Coast Mountains, the First Nations people have come together to establish the Squamish Lil’wat Cultural Centre. This facility showcases unique customs, art, and music and provides opportunities for local youth to train in the tourism industry. As a non-profit organization, the centre relies on visitors to help fund their ongoing programs, meaning everyone who comes here helps make this important work possible.
