DAY 7 - CHARLESTON Charleston abounds with Southern charm and hospitality. Founded in 1670, the state’s oldest city has a distinctive culture that brings together English, French, and West African elements. Discover downtown Charleston’s historic neighbourhoods and be sure to sample the city’s famous gumbo. DAY 8 - CHARLESTON / ATLANTA Drive to Atlanta, the capital of Georgia and home of Coca-Cola. Options include a tour of the factory or visiting some of the Martin Luther King Jr sites. Choose from excellent options for local food here, like one of the many true America diners from the early 1900s. Opt to see an Atlanta Braves baseball game (when the team is in town). DAY 9 - ATLANTA / NASHVILLE On the way to Nashville, Tennessee, stop in Lynchburg and opt for a tour of the Jack Daniel's Distillery. Later, head out for live music and cowboy nightlife in this country music capital. DAY 10 - NASHVILLE / MEMPHIS Travel west to Memphis, Tennessee. Enjoy an included Southern barbecue dinner, then opt to catch some live music on Beale Street, where the blues was born. Hailed "Home of the Blues", Beale Street is filled with talent and tunes to get you moving. Find the Mem- phis Music Hall of Fame, the Sidewalk of Stars, and an Elvis statue as you make your way to the Beale Street Entertain- ment District. Hear the music from B.B. King's Blues Club filter out to the street along with several of the other cafes, dives and clubs that line the street and make it hard not to dance. DAY 11 - MEMPHIS Take advantage of a free day in Mem- phis. Opt to tour Elvis' home, Graceland; check out the birthplace of rock 'n' roll, Sun Studios; or tour the National Civil Rights Museum.
