A month-long cruise can be just what the doctor ordered to relax and rejuvenate while setting sail on an exotic adventure to the far-flung corners of the globe.
Sometimes we just want to go away on a mini cruise for a couple of days of relaxing on-board a cruise ship and seeing places close by. Luckily, the UK is ideally located for short cruises between two and five nights.
Princess Cruises is a cruise line owned by Carnival Corporation & PLC and was previously owned by P&O Princess Cruises and is part of the Holland America Group. The line has seventeen ships, with two new ones currently in the pipeline.
Princess cruise line have revealed that three of their existing ships will join the Ocean Medallion Class fleet by 2019.
The Crown Princess
Crown Princess, Ruby Princess and Golden Princess are set to join the Ocean Medallion Class fleet, joining four other Princess ships already scheduled to enter the class.
The name of the class comes from the technology that will be integrated on the ships which is the Ocean Medallion – a wearable device which is the same size as a 10p piece. Shirley: The ship has been built for the Chinese market. It felt very elegant and certainly was beautiful. There were lots of subtle touches to the décor. The lounges were stunning and there were lots of bars even a Chinese Tea Bar! The pool areas were lovely and all in all it was an amazing ship!
Sophie: The ship was really nice with lots of nice finishes and touches. The buffet area was beautiful as was the atrium which had blue Murano glass! The fixtures and fittings felt very luxurious and all the interior colours were very calming.
