It’s always an exciting time when a cruise line is set to launch its latest ship. New itineraries, new facilities to dine and unwind in, and a state-of-the-art vessel to have a boatload of fun with. So, we’re proud to be able to bring you a bow-to-stern breakdown of the newest addition to MSC’s incredible fleet: MSC Euribia.

We’ll dish all the details on the cutting-edge cruise ship below, including when it’ll first launch, where Euribia will be travelling to, and best of all, what you can expect to do onboard. Let’s jump in!

MSC Euribia’s key stats

MSC Euribia’s tale of the tape is certainly impressive: reaching speeds of 22,30 knots, measuring 331m in length and with a capacity of 6,334 guests, it’s a truly stand-out ship. As for how much it weighs, all the facilities and amenities onboard mean the total MSC Euribia tonnage comes in at a mighty 183.500 tonnes!

What’s the story behind MSC Euribia’s name?

The ship’s name actually has some impressive mythological origins. Named after the ancient goddess Eurybia who harnessed the power of winds, weather, and constellations to master the sea, it all makes sense. After all, MSC’s new ship is bound to be bossing waters thanks to a few innovative new features she has onboard – more on this below…

When is the MSC Euribia launch date?

Maybe the detail you’ll be most eager to know – when is MSC Euribia scheduled to set sail? The first sailing is available for bookings now, and will be setting sail from Kiel on 10 June 2023.

MSC Euribia itinerary plans – what’s in store?

Now we’re onto the really juicy stuff. Where in the world is MSC Euribia going to be heading? So far, the ship has its sight set firmly on Europe.

From historic Hamburg to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Le Havre over the course of seven nights, to other adventures that take in the likes of picturesque Rotterdam and the equally photo-ready hustle and bustle of Zeebrugge, touring Europe’s more unsung highlights is MSC Euribia’s mission.

How about a 7-night jaunt that starts and ends in Copenhagen? Bookended by the centre of Scandi school, there’s plenty in between too, including the woah-worthy Art Nouveau style of Alesun, and Flaam’s dramatic waterfalls and mountains.

For something a little longer, you can always go for a mammoth 21-night exploration around Europe and head to some real heavyweight ports along the way. Hamburg, Casablanca, Gran Canaria, Tenerife, Lanzarote, AND Lisbon all in one trip? That’s a holiday highlight reel in its own right!

Excited now? We bet you are. Be sure to get the full details of all of MSC Euribia’s planned itineraries right here.

MSC Euribia deck plans: what will they include?

The line’s new ship promises plenty onboard too. Taking design cues from the Meraviglia Class, MSC Euribia features the same 305-feet LED screen running along the ceiling of the ship’s central indoor promenade, casting incredible light shows and images in its main social hub. Even shopping trips become a technicolour marvel – just be sure not to get too distracted along the way.

It wouldn’t be an MSC ship without an MSC Aurea Spa either. Your very own haven to sit back, relax and restore mind and body, you’ll have access to a Thermal Area complete with sauna, steam bath and whirlpool, along with a professional Hair and Nail Salon as well as a barbershop too. May we recommend the Balinese Spa too? Here, you’ll be able to recharge and relax amidst a blend of scented essences and aromatic oils – we’re getting jealous just thinking about it!

The MSC Yacht Club is here too, of course, an exclusive part of the ship that is bookable for any guests who want to feel like VIPs. Guests who are part of the MSC Yacht Club gain access to incredible restaurants, lounges to chill out in, private pools and best of all: a 24-hour butler service to make your special occasion that little bit more, well, special.

Taking a dip? MSC Euribia can help with that – boasting not one, not two, but five entirely unique pools for you to dive into, including one of the biggest and most intricate waterparks at sea. And with the main pool featuring 10m² of space per guest, let us be the first to say: come on in, the water’s lovely.

An eco-friendly approach to cruising

Incredible amenities and exclusive facilities aren’t the only things the MSC Euribia can brag about either, it’s got some incredible technology designed to preserve the ecosystem living underneath the seas it sails on too.

MSC Euribia is an LNG-powered ship. Through this, it’ll eliminate harmful things like sulphur oxides, reduce nitrogen oxides by 85% and reduce emissions of greenhouse gases by up to 20%. Even the hull of the ship, the part that goes below the water, gets in on the eco action. It’s coated with special paint that reduces the growth of organisms, reducing drag and keeping Euribia the ship as efficient as possible when it’s in motion.

There’s more to the tech too. Thanks to its advanced wastewater treatment system, any water that enters the ship will be specially treated, cleaning the water before returning it to the sea. This stops harmful ocean organisms from being transported from one ocean area to the other, preserving local ecosystems that otherwise would’ve been affected.

If MSC Euribia’s message of more environmentally friendly cruising wasn’t any clearer, then look no further than its incredible exterior. Featuring colourful artwork by artist Alex Flämig, the hull is a colourful, powerful reminder of the line’s dedication to the marine ecosystem. For the first time in the line’s history, the hull becomes a work of art in itself, proudly displaying the words #SaveTheSea wherever the new ship will venture.

We’re excited to let Cruise Nation customers experience MSC Euribia for themselves when it sets sail later this year. For more incredible cruise deals, head to our homepage and see what’s waiting to whisk you away very, very soon.
