This wine bar spans decks four and five and features eighty labels from over fifty Italian wineries, each to be paired with hors d'oeuvres. They even have a self-service wine machine which you can pay for using your ship card. If you just want to do some wine tasting, the upper level is the place to go, whereas the lower level is more of a gourmet food shop. This place is nice and quiet to enjoy a conversation as they don't offer any live music.

You will find this German style beer hall just opposite the wine bar on decks four and five. Here you can enjoy your favourite lager, bitter or Italian brew. They have inside tables available on decks four and five and have outside tables in the promenade's semi-enclosed cabana. They feature live oompah music, but the bar is slightly less busy than the others on board.

The Emerald Theatre
The Emerald Theatre
This is the ships main theatre, which spans decks three, four and five, is stylishly decorated with orange and blue tones complemented by chrome pillars. While the main floor is flat with seats around drinks tables, the upper two floors are balconies with high-backed seats. As the theatre fills quite quickly, it's best to arrive around fifteen minutes early if you want a good seat. They favour visual performances to avoid the multi-language barrier and the shows are at 7:30 pm and 9:30 pm respectively.

This midship pool has a magradome (retractable roof) which means you can swim whatever the weather. It also has a huge movie screen for family entertainment and a stage where several party bands perform later in the evenings for adults.

Stella del Sud

This aft pool may be smaller than the midship pool but is often preferred by adults on board as its quieter and has a waterfall for massaging away shoulder and neck tension. It has the usual sun loungers as well as tables for casual al fresco dining.

You'll find the ship's gym on deck fourteen, just next to the spa, which overlooks the midship pool. It offers many free fitness equipment such as treadmills, stationary bikes and exercise machines. Some of their classes are charged for, such as pilates and yoga, as well as for the use of the virtual Tour de France course. Men and women have separate shower and changing rooms, but no saunas.

4D Cinema
4D Cinema
This exciting 4D Cinema is on deck five and the minimum age is 6 years. Participants wear 3D glasses while being immersed in special video and audio affects as well as feeling "impact" on the 24 vibrating seats.

This video arcade on deck ten is open to guests of all ages and features high tech lighting and sound, perfect for birthday, karaoke or DJ parties. Its most popular attraction is the new Laser Maze where you can try out your cat burglar skills by trying to complete the maze without touching any of the laser beams.

This fantastic Grand Prix race car-driving simulator is located on deck twelve and requires closed shoes. It is one of the best simulators at sea, using the same real time vehicle modelling technology as Formula One drivers use in training.

Squok Club

The Costa kids club is called the Squok Club and is divided into age appropriate groups. In case you're wondering, Squok is the name of Costa's half-shark, half dolphin mascot. The Mini Group is for three to six-year olds and the Maxi for kids from seven to eleven years old. Note that your kids will have to be potty trained to attend these groups and that your children under three will only be allowed there during less busy times, as long as you accompany them.
