Silversea

If you’re looking for a five-star luxury cruise experience that’s all-inclusive and world-renowned, then let us introduce you to Silversea.

Silversea offers a luxury cruise experience that’s immersive, relaxing and second to none. Your every need and desire is taken care of by some of the finest crews at sea. Public areas are spacious, and each suite offers ocean views, perfect for lazy mornings before beginning a day of exploring.

All-Inclusive

Every sailing with Silversea is all-inclusive, so don’t worry about additional charges once onboard, these would only apply to purchases in the onboard shop, Spa and casino. Once you decide which itinerary to choose, you can enjoy premium wines and spirits, five-star cuisine, in-suite dining, gratuities, and a butler service, all within the cost of your fare. The majority of Silversea cruises also include economy class air fare. You can upgrade to business class for an additional charge.

Silversea also offers an included Air & Hotel programme which gives you the chance to enjoy a pre-cruise hotel stay, transfers between the airport, hotel and ship, and 1 included shore excursion in every port. Please check with our Silversea cruise experts at time of enquiry to find out if your chosen itinerary can be tailored for this offer.

Luxury Expedition

For a cruise that offers even more destination immersion, choose to cruise on one of Silversea’s luxury expedition vessels, Silver Discoverer, Silver Explorer, Silver Cloud or Silver Galapagos. In 2020, Silver Origin will also join the fleet and sail exclusively in the Galapagos Islands.

Onboard Experience

Silversea prides itself on offering large ship amenities aboard smaller, more intimate vessels, meaning you can get right into the heart of each destination and enjoy the home comforts and luxuries that come with modern-luxury cruising.

Silversea’s ships are not designed to cater for children, however, should you wish to travel with youngsters, we recommend booking your luxury cruise aboard Silver Muse. She features a children’s playroom with a dedicated group of hosts.

Several dining options, a gym and fitness centre, casino, salon, and several bars and lounges feature aboard all of Silversea’s cruise ships, along with a swimming pool and several hot tubs.

Entertainment comes in many forms and you can involve yourself in as much of it or as little of it as you like. Movies are regularly offered, there are dance classes, shuffleboard games and even culinary classes to take advantage of whilst onboard. If you’d prefer to spend some time relaxing and recharging your batteries, then why not grab a book from the library or enjoy a pamper morning in the state-of-the-art spa – the choice is entirely yours.

Land Programmes

If you want to extend your holiday, then why not find out more about Silversea’s land programme offerings across the world. The Couture collection takes you further inland to some remote destinations and each one has been expertly crafted to ensure you get the very best from your time on land. These offerings are more refined and feature opportunities in Mongolia, the South Pole and Bolivia. The Signature Collection covers a wider range of destinations, including Canada, Iceland and the Mediterranean.

Silversea Expeditions

Onboard Experience

Silversea’s expedition vessels don’t offer the same extent of dining options and public spaces as the rest of Silversea’s ships, but this is because they are built for expedition travel. The idea is to immerse yourself in your destinations and enjoy in-depth talks from some of the world’s most renowned experts in their respective fields. These individuals will also accompany most Silversea Expeditions shore excursions, so you can take the knowledge of each destination ashore with you and learn more about the history, cultures and fauna and flora of the remote regions and exotic places on your cruise itinerary. The exception to this is Silver Cloud, which has only recently started sailing expedition itineraries.

On the Silversea Expedition fleet, Silver Discoverer and Silver Cloud both feature a swimming pool, whereas Silver Explorer only offers 2 hot tubs and Silver Galapagos only one hot tub.

Silver Explorer and Silver cloud both feature a theatre, numerous bars, and a spa option with a gym and hair salon. Silver Galapagos offers one massage room for those that simply can’t cruise without, and Silver Galapagos and Silver Discoverer each offer a gym and hair salon.

Suites

Silversea offers a wide variety of suite options, more than some other luxury cruise lines within the industry, but whichever you pick, you’ll enjoy the attentiveness of your own personal butler along with: Bvlgari bath amenities, queen-sized or twin beds, ETRO bath robes, slippers, marble bathroom, standard Wi-Fi, at least 2 flat screen HDTV’s, refrigerator and mini-bar stocked to your preference, large picture window or balcony, sitting area and writing desks with personalised stationary.

Higher grade suites, such as the Grand Suite, Silver Suite and Royal Suite, also benefit from one or two teak balconies, unlimited premium Wi-Fi, Illy espresso machine, separate dining area, laundry service, dinner at the officer’s table, Bose Sound Touch and afternoon canapes upon request, plus so much more. You can even request your butler run you a scented bath at the perfect temperature.

The above applies to all ships across the Silversea and Silversea Expeditions fleets. Silver Origin will be the exception when she launches in 2020, as she is destined to offer ocean-view baths and even balcony showers.

Dining

Restaurant options vary per ship and there are more choices available on the Silversea fleet as opposed to the Expedition ships, again, with the exception of Silver Cloud. Regardless, each ship features a modern and spacious main dining room simply named The Restaurant, where a wealth of tasty options is served for breakfast, lunch and dinner on an open-seating basis.

Alternative Dining

Other dining options aboard the Silversea fleet include:

Atlantide – A modern take on American classics such as steak and lobster are offered here and Atlantide can be found aboard Silver Muse, Silver Spirit and Silver Moon.

Reservations are required and La Terrazza can be enjoyed aboard Silver Moon, Silver Muse, Silver Whisper, Silver Spirit, Silver Shadow, Silver Cloud and Silver Wind.

Kaiseki – One of the most artful culinary experiences can be found at Kaiseki and menus have been inspired by the five elements of Japanese cuisine. Kaiseki is available for lunch and dinner aboard Silver Muse and Silver Moon.

Spaccanapoli – Another dining venue that nods to Silversea’s Italian roots is Spaccanapoli, named after a region in Naples, that is famous for its pizzerias. A relaxed venue with first-class pizzas, you can find Spaccanapoli aboard Silver Muse, Silver Spirit and Silver Moon.

Silver Note – This intimate dining venue offers small plate tapas dishes alongside the smoothing sounds of jazz and blues. You can dine and dance, as you sail toward your next port of call. Silver Muse, Silver Spirit and Silver Moon all feature Silver Note.

Destinations

Silversea boasts a huge portfolio of impressive destinations for you to explore, no less than 900 across all seven continents, so wherever you want to go and whatever you want to do, you’re assured that there’s a ship and itinerary that is calling your name.
