Viking Ship Museum

At this museum you can celebrate the nautical history of Norway including three authentic Viking longships which were built in the 9th century, as well as a collection of jewelry and utensils.

Vigeland Sculpture Park

Stroll through the five gardens in this strikingly designed park that contains over 200 monumental sculptures by Gustav Vigeland depicting the complete cycle of human life from birth to death.

Akershus Castle

Situated on a cliff towering above Oslo fjord, this castle and fortress were built in 1300. The grounds of the castle offer beautiful views of Oslo and the Fjord.

Munch Museum

Here you can view major works by Edvard Munch, including his famous painting, "The Scream." This spacious museum contains over 1,000 paintings in addition to other works.

City Hall

One of Oslo's most fascinating landmarks, home to a series of murals painted by Norwegian artists as well as sculpture, woodcarvings and tapestries.
