The Cappella Sistina (Sistine Chapel)
Commissioned by Giovanni D'Aria and his brother Michele, the chapel is simliar in many ways to the more famous Sistine Chapel situated in Rome. It was reconstructed between 1765 and 1767 after years of deterioration.
Priamar Fortress
The Priamar Fortress was built by the Genoese in 1542 after they conquered Savona. It was built in the area of the old cathedral and old city and later used as a prison. Today, it houses the Museum Centre of Priamar.
