Disappointing
While the holiday itself had some great aspects, the overall service and lack of transparency really let it down.
We were only informed about additional hotel charges after booking, hidden away in small print, which added unexpected costs to our trip. This is not acceptable—customers should be made fully aware of all fees upfront before committing, not after the fact.
When we raised our concerns, the response we received simply stated that this is their “standard process,” with no accountability or willingness to resolve the issue. There was also no flexibility or support when we needed help with a simple luggage request during our return journey.
Overall, the experience felt very money-focused rather than customer-focused. I would strongly advise others to be cautious and check for hidden costs before booking.

Customer support during Middle East conflict could be better.
Service from Cruise Nation’s sales team is impressive. However, service from customer service and booking management teams is a bit hit and miss. Due to the current conflict in Middle East, we had to risk our flight via Dubai and wanted to reschedule our flight and cruise with NCL. It was a stressful situation and information wasn’t very clear. At the end we managed to reschedule our holiday on the day of departure but it wasn’t a pleasant experience. Would encourage them to be open and clear with cancellation process to customers at the outset.

Got there eventually
Firstly my impression of Cruise Nation was not good as I had an online Chat with an agent and eventually my call was ended abruptly and not all my questions answered. I thought they would have phoned me but no . I phoned again name in queue asked for call back. I received a call back from a different person I think was called Kaiyle who was most helpful and pleasant I got all the answers I needed and proceeded to book the holiday . It makes such a difference when you get someone who knows their job and gives you confidence in booking.
