It’s no secret that the capital of the UAE is looking to anchor itself as one of the world’s leading winter sun cruise destinations. A great stride towards that goal was taken with the opening of the Abu Dhabi Cruise Terminal, a new state-of-the-art facility boasting 24-hour customs and banking, tourist information, shops, restaurants, bus and taxi stands.

Weather in the United Arab Emirates

Abu Dhabi’s weather is all about warmth, sunshine, and a touch of desert drama. Summers (June to September) are intense, with temperatures soaring above 40°C (104°F) and humidity making the air feel even heavier. Thankfully, air-conditioned malls, luxurious resorts, and refreshing pools offer the perfect escape.

Autumn (October to November) brings a welcome cooldown, with temperatures becoming more comfortable for strolls along the Corniche or desert adventures. Winters (December to February) are mild and pleasant, with temperatures around 20-25°C (68-77°F), making it the best time for outdoor dining, beach days, and exploring the city’s stunning architecture. Spring (March to May) sees temperatures gradually rise again, but the evenings remain enjoyable. No matter the season, Abu Dhabi’s weather ensures golden sunsets, clear skies, and a luxurious desert glow.
