Events in Lake Garda
Orticolario is an international flower show which occurs for 3 days every year at the end of September/early October. There are workshops to learn more about growing flowers or arranging them, incredible flower displays and activities especially for little ones too.
Festival of San Giovanni
The Festival of San Giovanni is the oldest festival on the lake and it celebrates the rich heritage of Como. It’s held on the last weekend in June and there is folk art, music and traditional food. The focal point of the celebration takes place after sunset when hundreds of floating lanterns are released and a magnificent fireworks display occurs for a truly magnificent scene of the lake.
Como City of Music Festival
This music festival has been running for 10 years and it’s an eclectic celebration of not just music but theatre and dance too. It’s held from the end of June to early July.
