Festival of San Giovanni

Festival of San Giovanni

The Festival of San Giovanni is the oldest festival on the lake and it celebrates the rich heritage of Como. It’s held on the last weekend in June and there is folk art, music and traditional food. The focal point of the celebration takes place after sunset when hundreds of floating lanterns are released and a magnificent fireworks display occurs for a truly magnificent scene of the lake.
