GTS Celebrity Summit is a Celebrity Cruises ship that was built in 2001 by the Chantiers de l'Atlantique shipyard in St. Nazaire, France. She was first launched as the Summit and was later renamed as the Celebrity Summit.

In 2012, Celebrity Summit was outfitted with Solstice-class features, and sixty brand new staterooms. She now weighs in at with 90 940 GT. The ship will be refurbished again in March 2019 with several changes taking place. For instance, the Cellar Masters will be transformed into a gastro bar and her Michael's Club will be converted into a Retreat Lounge for suite passengers.

Cosmopolitan Dining Room

This two-storey main dining room opens for breakfast, lunch and dinner daily. It spans decks four and five and offers white glove service for up to 1 100 guests. It is a great spot to enjoy the picturesque views overlooking the ship's wake.

They also offer Celebrity Select Dining available in thirty-minute increments between 6 pm and 9:30 pm. You can either reserve your spot or simply show up to be served at a first come, first served basis. The dinner menu has 29 selections available, including Appetisers, Soups and Salads, Entrees and Desserts.

Qsine Dining Room

This is the Celebrity Summit's speciality reservation only dinner dining room. You will find it on deck eleven and it's opening times are from 6 pm to 10 pm. You can order your meal or a cocktail on their iPads which are provided. It is a great place to visit if you're a real foodie who really likes to try different dishes prepared in a new way or if you simply want to line your stomach while trying the several sophisticated cocktails on offer.

The Normandie Restaurant

This select French restaurant opens for dinner every night between 6 pm to 10 pm, and with seating for 114. You have to reserve a seat for this restaurant and only accept guests 12 years and up. It is beautifully decorated with the original walnut panelling from the SS Normandie ship.

It has Champagne high tea in the afternoon, which is well worth the cover charge. The restaurant serves a five-course dinner of American and French cuisine including Appetisers, Soups and Salads, Caviar, Entrees, Cheese and Desserts. Or you can opt for the slightly pricier Five Senses offer, which is a must for all foodies to try.

Bars and Lounges

Fortunes Casino Bar

This great bar is located on deck four and is open whenever the casino is, as long as it's not in port. The great thing about this bar is that it is non-smoking, so everyone can enjoy some fresh and clean air while they take a flutter.

Rendezvous Lounge

The Rendezvous lounge on deck four is popular with guests for pre and post dinner drinks. The spacious spot has a pleasant atmosphere and a small dance floor for those who would like to show off their moves. It opens at 11 am on sea days and from 4 pm to 1 am on port days. It's much quieter during the afternoon and early evening, when they often have a piano player performing. The vibe completely changes when it turns into a karaoke bar later in the evening.

Michael's Club

Michael's Club is a live music bar situated on deck four, famous for its intimate atmosphere and incredible range of drinks. It's a great venue to relax and unwind while sampling their offering of over 64 international craft beers, scotch, fine whisky, bourbon and cognac. All of this while enjoying the live music, which includes live piano and guitar musicians.

The Celebrity Summit's main casino can be found midship on deck four and has its own bar. They offer have a great variety of slot machines, which operates on a ticket in/out ticket out system, as well as Let it Ride and Baccarat by request. It also offers 6 blackjack table, 2 roulette wheels, 2 three-card poker, 1 Ultimate Texas Hold 'Em, 1 craps table, and 2 Texas Hold 'Em electronic lightning poker tables.

Emporium

The Celebrity Summit's Emporium on deck five is great for catching up on some shopping. No matter what you're after, you will probably find it here. This includes jewellery, watches, clothing and some tech and Apple products. You will also find a sundries shop and some Celebrity Summit logo wear in case you're after a souvenir of your trip.

This is also where the art gallery is situated, which displays some great art works and hold a variety of sales and auction events. And while you're shopping on the fifth deck, take a peek at the Future Cruise Sales office, where you can buy another cruise at a hefty discount.

Celebrity Summit's Family Entertainment

There are plenty of recreational activities for the whole family to enjoy. There is a basketball court on deck twelve and a very popular "officers vs passengers" volleyball game that frequently takes place. It also has ping pong tables, shuffleboard and baggo on deck ten.
