Main Dining Rooms
Costa Smeralda’s four main restaurants bring Italian cooking with regional touches to the table, alongside classic international dishes. Each has its own welcoming bistro feel, bright windows and sea-view terraces, so dinner comes with a pleasing side of horizon.
Choose from La Colombina on Deck 5, Il Meneghino and Arlecchino on Deck 6, or Il Rugantino on Deck 7. Let Costa know dietary requirements in advance for vegetarian, gluten-free or lactose-free menus.
Restaurant Tutti a Tavola
Tutti a Tavola is a family buffet on Deck 16, beside the Squok Club and children’s play area at the aft of the ship. You can choose from the same food served in the main dining rooms, plus a special children’s menu, with indoor and outdoor seating and sea views.
Breakfast runs from 08:00 to 10:00, then food is served from 12:00 to 20:30, handy when little ones do not eat to a timetable. Access is for families with children aged 3 to 6, and registration is required.
Teppanyaki
Japanese chefs turn dinner into a show at this Oriental-style restaurant on Deck 8, Capri. Choose from seasonal vegetables, seafood, lamb, chicken and rice, then watch it sizzle on the teppanyaki grill right in front of you.
Cantonese rice is a favourite, but the acrobatic cooking is the real table talk. With just three tables of 18, reservations are recommended.
Laboratorio Del Gusto
Laboratorio del Gusto, also known as Food LAB, is Costa Smeralda's seaside cooking school, where dinner comes with a little more hands on involvement. You prepare your own meal, then sit down to enjoy the results.
Try your hand at sushi chef techniques or create an aperitif to savour afterwards. You will find it on Deck 8, Capri, so bring a willingness to get stuck in.
Bacaro
A Venetian-style stop for cicchetti, those small, sociable bites that make one glass of wine feel like a very good idea. Choose from meat, fish and vegetarian options, including cod crostini and mozzarella in carrozza.
Find it forward on Deck 8, near Piazza Trastevere. Settle in by the promenade portholes, order a few plates, then order one more. Research is important.
Pizzeria Pummid'oro
Pizzeria Pummid’Oro brings proper Italian pizza to Deck 8, Capri, with traditional recipes sitting alongside gourmet creations. Choose from favourites including Margherita, Calzone and Napoli, then add mozzarella, a dessert, draft beer or wine by the glass.
There is more than dough-tossing to this pizzeria, with pizzaiolo acrobatics, music and plenty of lively dining-room energy. Check the onboard Logbook for opening times, as they are not published online.

Among the other bars on board are Aperol Spritz Bar, Ferrari Spumante Spazio Bollicine, Bar Mattino, Bar Sole and the elegant Campari Bar. The ship will also sport a delightful Nutella Cafe.

On Deck 16, Como, Solemio Spa pairs sea views with a sauna, hammam, thalassotherapy pool, salt room and snow room. Add a massage, wellness ritual or a little salon time, because holidays are also for looking suitably unbothered.
The sea-view gym has Technogym equipment, TRX and an outdoor jogging track, with yoga, Pilates and fitness classes available. Gym use is included, while spa facilities and treatments carry an extra charge. The wellness centre is for guests aged 18 and over.

A poolside party where you slip on headphones, pick up the music and dance without loudspeakers taking over the deck. It is all the energy of a proper night out, with a rather clever volume control.
Look out for it at La Spiaggia Beach Club, the covered pool area on Deck 16, Como. A sample programme schedules it for 23:00, though timings can vary by sailing.

Take a cultured turn around CoDe, Costa Smeralda’s 400 square metre museum celebrating Italian design and Made in Italy excellence. It is a rather good excuse to swap the sun lounger for something equally pleasing to look at.
Find it on Deck 7, Positano deck, where exhibits showcase representative products and Italian design. There is also a bookshop if you fancy taking home a design-led souvenir.

La Spiaggia Beach Club is Costa Smeralda’s central indoor pool area, stretching across Decks 16 and 17. Swim, sunbathe or settle in beneath the retractable glass roof, with an Italian beach-club feel even when the weather has other ideas.
Pool parties, DJs, live bands and programmes on the LED wall keep things moving. When lounging becomes hungry work, The Salty Beach Street Food serves poolside burgers, panini and focacce.

When lounging has done all it can for the day, head up to Aqua Park Smeralda on Deck 17. Three water slides bring speedy bends and fast descents, ideal for a family race with no need to take it terribly seriously.
Beyond the slides, you can tackle the high-ropes garden, mini-golf course or sports area. The outdoor court on Deck 18 is set up for basketball, volleyball and tennis. Check onboard notices and follow crew instructions before you dive in.

Squok Club gives children aged 3 to 11 their own supervised corner of the ship, with movement games, themed parties, baby dances and sports. Mini is for ages 3 to 5, while Maxi is for ages 6 to 11.
It is on Deck 16 aft and children must be out of nappies to join activities. Heading ashore on a Costa excursion without them? Let the club know 24 hours ahead and drop them off 15 minutes before departure.
