There are plenty to choose from when it comes to the cuisine on board Costa Smerelda. The dining experience includes sixteen eateries, which ensures there is something for everyone. This includes four main restaurants, two buffets, five food courts and three speciality restaurants.
Main Dining Rooms
There are four main restaurants; La Colombina, Il Meneghino, Arleccchino, and Il Rugantino. These venues span from casual and simple, to more elaborate yet comfortable options. Every day, an Italian region will reign at your table, with a menu inspired by local culinary traditions. They offer a variety of starters, main courses of meat or fish, side dishes, salads and desserts. This restaurant is also a great option for vegetarians and those with special dietary requirements as they have options available to suit all. Costa Chef's creativity knows no boundaries, which means that if you follow a special diet, such as gluten-free or hypolycaemic for diabetics, or if you have an allergy or intolerance, you can safely enjoy all the wonderful cuisine during your Costa cruise.

This restaurant is dedicated to families and offers remarkable views of the sea. It's located close to Luna Park and has a comfortable interior and kid friendly menu.
Teppanyaki
Lovers of Asian food is in for a real treat at the Teppanyaki restaurant, which offers a great combination of traditional mixed with the ultra-modern. It has a meditative type atmosphere and offer the authentic flavours of Japan. If you haven't had Teppanyaki before, prepare to be entertained by food cooked on a teppan hot plate right in front of your very eyes. See the master chefs at work and even be entertained with some knife shows, a truly unique eating experience.

Here you can put your cooking skills to the test and be one of Costa's 'Chefs for the day' by building your own feast. It's a space where you can share your recipes and be inspired by dishes from Bruno Barbieri.

Pizzeria Pummid'oro
This is the perfect spot for some authentic Italian pizza, made with high-quality ingredients and the genuineness of dough made with leavening prepared with mother yeast. They cater to everyone's taste with as many as fourteen different pizza'sm including Calzone, Four Seasons and Napoli. They have an excellent wine and beer menu as well as some tantalisingly decadent dessert options.

The Costa kids club is called the Squok Club and is divided into age appropriate groups. The Mini Group is for three to six-year olds and the Maxi for kids from seven to eleven years old. Note that your kids will have to be potty trained to attend these groups and that your children under three will only be allowed there during less busy times, as long as you accompany them. Children also benefit from the Aqua Park and La Sala Giochi (teens-only interactive game room).
