The Vista Dining Room
This fantastic restaurant serves open-seating breakfast and lunch and a blend of set-seating and As You Wish freedom flexible, restaurant-style meals at dinner. Dinner is where the Holland America partnership with executive chef Rudi Sodamin and the Culinary Council shines. It consists of five courses ranging from appetisers of steamed mussels to fettuccine, chicken, desserts and more. They have an afternoon tea event at about 3, where you can enjoy premium tea as well as pastries, sandwiches, and scones.
Lido Marketplace
The Lido deck eatery provides a relaxed dining area with fresh cooked to order selections and a choice of seating either indoors or al fresco. Breakfast offerings are extensive, and the lunch buffet provides passengers with a choice of dishes from around the world, Asian stir-fry, pizza, pasta, and sandwiches along with an extensive salad bar. Dinner comprises of a similar selection to those in the main dining room with appetisers such as fruit, chicken and seafood, soups and salads, entrees and desserts. Insider tip: If you want to enjoy a relatively quiet alfresco meal, try the seating at the very back of the ship.
Dive-In
This poolside restaurant serves mouth-watering burgers and hot dogs. They do a gourmet version of American fast food staples and are very popular with passengers. Dive-In is open most days from 11:30 am to 5:30 pm.
Explorations Cafe
This delightful coffee bar doubles as the ship's internet and library room. This means you can enjoy a book while having a speciality coffee along with a pastry, biscuit, or muffin.
The Pinnacle Grill
The Pinnacle Grill is an upmarket yet intimate reservations only restaurant, which specialises in only serving the highest quality steaks, chops and seafood at dinnertime. Dishes on offer range from premium sterling silver beef, filet mignon and jumbo prawns, and broiled lobster tail to Caesar salad and lobster bisque for starters and chocolate and raisin bread and butter pudding or baked Alaska for dessert. Lunches are brilliant and is less than a third of the price of dinner.
Rudi's Sel de Mer
The restaurant sees Holland America's brilliant executive culinary director, Rudi Sodamin, put his own special touches on the original French seafood brasserie concept. It has a standard cover charge but do be aware that certain items require a hefty upcharge. The mood of this pop-up event is set with soft music, featuring a variety of French chanteuses, in the background.
Canaletto Restaurant
This world class establishment is the Oosterdam's reservations-only complimentary Italian dinner restaurant. It is famous for offering a delectable Italian sharing menu at dinnertime for a very reasonable price. Food on offer includes a selection of antipasti, soups and salads, pasta and desserts. And it's not only the food that's fantastic, its also one of the most affordable dinners on the Oosterdam.

The highlight of this beautifully decorated area is the stage, which looks like a violin and the performances by B.B. King's band. Other activities, like the America's Test Kitchen Demos, might be held here during your sailing. Be sure to arrive early if you want a mezzanine seat on nights that B.B King's band plays as it often means standing room only.

This stylish venue is home to a dance floor and piano players who play a variety of pop hits and golden oldies on beautiful grand pianos. It faces the casino and the promenade, which makes it a good spot to people-watch in the evening as you sing along to your favourite hits on duelling pianos. It's part audience participation, depending on the night, and requests are encouraged. Day time events include cocktail parties.

This concert venue offers a variety of chamber and classical music concerts each evening with one piano and three string instruments. The performers are very talented and the performances outstanding.

Located behind the casino, this hip bar is expertly decorated and offers world class drinks. The drinks menu was created by celebrity mixologist Dale DeGroff, which includes exotic versions of classic cocktails. It is home to evening trivia events.

The attractive Ocean Bar surrounds the central atrium and features a small stage and dance floor, which makes it the perfect spot for pre-dinner drinks. There are plenty of chairs with tables, couches and playful high-backed chairs.

The Main stage is the Oosterdam's main performance stage, offering unobstructed views and 270-degree screens that are used during performances. The theatre highlight is an exclusive BBC Planet Earth short film, which is accompanied by a live orchestra. There are different shows every night and they certainly don't disappoint. Musicology is a favourite among guests and is described as a performance that personifies musical instruments using playful choreography and stunning costumes.
America's Test Kitchen

Perfect for all foodies, this event hosts free group demos and charged for more intimate cooking classes. For a fee, you can also create your own red wine blend guided by an onboard wine expert at Blend. Wine tastings and happy hours are held here throughout your sailing.

If you're looking for a quiet and affordable option, try booking a treatment on a port day.

The fitness centre features an impressive array of cutting-edge fitness machines such as stationary bikes, treadmills, rowing machines, ellipticals and weight machines. Some of their classes are free but others like pilates and yoga are charged per class. Personal training is also available. You must be at least 16 years old to use the gym, and over 18 to use it without parental supervision. If you prefer to exercise outdoors, have a look at the walking track on deck three where three laps equal one mile.

Club Hal has age-appropriate activities for kids aged three to twelve and the teens have their own hangout space called the Loft. Club HAL activities are available from 8 am to 4 pm on port days. Lunch is available between 11 am and 1 pm.
