Spanning decks two and three, this big production theatre is the Westerdam's main performance stage, offering unobstructed views and 270-degree screens that are used during performances. The theatre highlight is an exclusive BBC Planet Earth short film, which is accompanied by a live orchestra. They also have guest entertainers including comedians and magicians.

Perfect for all foodies, this event hosts free group demos and charged for more intimate cooking classes. For a fee, you can also create your own red wine blend guided by an onboard wine expert at Blend. Wine tastings and happy hours are held here throughout your sailing.

The Sports Court and outdoor recreation facilities are on deck eleven, with a netted basketball court that doubles as a soccer and volleyball court. The ship also features a shuffleboard court, ping-pong table and a sheltered walking track on deck three, where three laps equal a mile.

This luxurious spa has an impressive thermal suite, which includes access to multiple saunas, a steam room, aromatherapy room, relaxation room with heated ceramic loungers and a hydrotherapy pool. Treatments onboard are provided using Elemis brand products. A dedicated salon offers hair, nail and men's services.

Located inside the spa, this fitness centre features an impressive array of cutting-edge fitness machines such as stationary bikes, rowing machines, ellipticals and weight machines, plus treadmills that face floor-to-ceiling windows over the ocean. Some of their classes are free but others like pilates and yoga are charged per class. Personal training is also available.

There are two pools, with the Lido pool and its retractable roof being the family friendly option. The Sea View pool and deck is open to the elements with beautiful views, has a hot tub and is considered more of a grown-up space. It is served by the Sea View Bar.

Club Hal has age-appropriate activities for kids aged three to twelve and the teens have their own hangout space called the Loft. Teens will find a circular couch in front of an oversized TV screen for movie watching and Xbox or Wii playing. Occasional group activities are offered including mixers, scavenger hunts and late-night discos. Children 12 years old and younger must be signed in and out by a parent or guardian.
