The Vista Dining Room
Zuiderdam’s two-level aft dining room brings five-course menus, classic favourites, regionally inspired dishes and vegetarian options to the table. You can settle in among fine art, antiques and crisp white linens, with breakfast, lunch and dinner all covered.
Choose a traditional seating or dine more flexibly. The Deck 3 level offers Any Time dinner from 5:15 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., and reservations are worth making if you have a preferred time. Keep shorts and beachwear for the deck at dinner.
Lido Marketplace
A casual, modern marketplace on Deck 9, near the pool, for breakfast, lunch, dinner and those late-night nibbles that somehow become a full plate.
Pick from fresh salads, sandwiches, Asian-inspired dishes and made-to-order pasta, including Spaghetti with Beef and Ricotta Meatballs. No reservations needed, so you can drop in whenever hunger gets its way.
Explorations Cafe
Perched on Deck 10 beside the Crow’s Nest, Explorations Café is your high seas coffee stop with panoramic ocean views. Settle in with a complimentary pastry or snack, then add an espresso drink if a proper pick me up is calling.
It sits alongside the library and computer lounge, so you can pair your coffee break with a book, a puzzle or a look at the day ahead. Specialty coffees carry an extra charge.
The Pinnacle Grill
For a proper steakhouse evening, head to Pinnacle Grill on Deck 2. This signature chophouse pairs classic cuts and seafood with regional specialities, including American Wagyu Strip Loin, Filet Mignon and Table-Side Caesar Salad.
It is open for lunch and dinner, with lunch offered on sea days. Reservations are highly recommended, so book ahead, then consider a glass from the wine selection to make an occasion of it.
Canaletto Restaurant
Dinner gets an Italian upgrade at Canaletto, a relaxed speciality restaurant on Deck 9 beside the Lido Market. Settle in for tableside service, house-made pasta and regional comfort food, from Casarecce Pesto Genovese to tiramisù.
A Canaletto Bellini is a suitably civilised start. Reservations are recommended, though walk-ins may be possible if there is space. Smart casual is the order of the evening.
Rudi's Sel de Mer
Rudi’s Sel de Mer is a special seafood dining pop-up rather than a permanent Zuiderdam fixture. On eligible Grand Voyages, you can find it in Pinnacle Grill on Deck 2, appearing on select evenings for a more occasion-worthy supper.
It is one to look out for if your sailing includes it, as it will not be available every night.

Music Walk is Deck 2’s live entertainment hub, bringing the ship’s music clubs together so you can follow your ears from one set to the next. Expect rock, pop and country classics at Rolling Stone Lounge, plus live piano, singalongs and music trivia at Billboard Onboard.
Drop in for an evening set, a dance or a well timed cocktail. Performances generally need no ticket or reservation, so check the daily programme for times. Entertainment is included, while drinks are available to buy or may be covered by your beverage package.

A piano-led evening spot where you can settle in with a cocktail, test your music knowledge and sing along to the songs everybody knows, even if you only remember the chorus.
Find it on Deck 2, next to the casino, with seating around the performance area and screens showing song information. Keep an eye on the daily schedule or Navigator app, as performances vary.
The Neptune Lounge

A quiet, private retreat on Deck 7 for Neptune and Pinnacle Suite guests. Settle into the living-room style space with a book, board game or a spot of telly, then let the concierge take the faff out of arranging your plans.
Pop in for continental breakfast and coffee or tea until 10:30am, sandwiches and pastries from 11:30am, or hors d'oeuvres from 4:00pm. The honour bar is there too, separately charged.

High on Deck 10, Crow’s Nest is your panoramic perch for ocean views, coffee, wine and a properly unhurried pause. Order an Espresso Martini or settle in with a pastry from the café, then let the horizon do its thing.
Bring a puzzle or board game for a leisurely afternoon, or catch small-scale live music, lectures and talks in the refreshed space. No reservations needed, simply stop by and find a seat.

Head to Deck 11, the Sports Deck, when lounging has done its job and you fancy a little friendly competition. The Sport Court has pickleball, basketball and cornhole, plus tournaments, classes and meet-ups for those who prefer their sea days with a scoreline.
The netted basketball court also doubles as a soccer court. You can take a free pickleball lesson with guidance for all skill levels, or keep things gentler on the jogging track, sheltered walking track or at shuffleboard.

Feeling lucky, or simply fancying a flutter with a sea view? Head to the Casino on Deck 2, where slots, roulette, poker and blackjack keep the evening pleasantly unpredictable.

Explorations Central at the forward end of the Crow’s Nest on Deck 10 is where your next port starts making sense. Browse digital destination stories, try the interactive touchscreens and see real time data from the ship’s bridge.
Drop in for a port lecture, a basic language lesson or the daily travel themed Question of the Day. There is also an excursion desk, puzzles and board games, plus specialty coffee and complimentary pastries nearby. Check the Navigator app for daily timings.

On Lido Deck 9, the Greenhouse Spa & Salon is your place to swap the to do list for a hot stone massage, facial or a spot of guided meditation. There is cucumber water in the relaxation room too, which feels rather more civilised than rushing straight back to the pool.
Treatments are for guests aged 18 and over, while salon services are open to all ages. Book ahead, especially for Dressy Nights, then let the ship carry on without you for a while.

Sea days need not mean sitting still. On Deck 9, forward on the Lido Deck beside the Spa & Salon, you can get moving with treadmills, bikes, ellipticals, free weights and strength machines.
The gym is professionally staffed and open from 6:00am to 9:00pm. Complimentary wellness classes are available, while personal training and some speciality classes cost extra. Check the daily programme or Navigator app for any bookable sessions.

A browse around the Shopping Arcade on Promenade Deck 3 is a pleasantly civilised way to pass a sea day. You will find duty free boutiques with fragrances, premium spirits, Holland America souvenirs, watches and designer jewellery, including Effy pieces.
Looking for a gift, or simply something shiny? Onboard shopping specialists can offer personalised recommendations. The shops open during posted hours at sea, so do not leave it until port day. Purchases are charged to your onboard account using your keycard.

On Deck 10, Kids Club keeps young cruisers busy with arts and crafts, games, scavenger hunts and Xbox tournaments. Activities are split for ages 3 to 6, 7 to 11 and 12 to 17, so everyone gets a chance to find their crowd.
This is supervised fun, not a babysitting service, so one adult must stay on board. Check the Navigator app for the sailing-specific timetable, especially on port days.
