L'Africana and Zanzibar

L’Africana and Zanzibar are MSC Fantasia’s casual, self service buffet spots on Deck 14, right by the pool and Aqua Park. Come as you are, pick your plate and get on with the important business of eating well.

You can choose from Mediterranean and international dishes, including pizza, pasta, salads, hot dishes and desserts. Water, tea, coffee and fruit juices are always available, and you can simply walk in for breakfast, lunch, dinner or a late night snack.

image

Red Velvet

Red Velvet is an intimate main dining room spread across Decks 5 and 6, where real Murano glass chandeliers add a little theatre before dinner even arrives.

You can tuck into changing international and Mediterranean menus, including Italian family recipes, at breakfast, lunch or a formal sit-down dinner. Smart casual works nicely, with formal attire for formal evenings.

image

La Cantina Toscana Restaurant

A cosy Italian wine bar on Deck 7, the Sublime deck, where you can settle into a red chair with an Italian wine and a plate of tapas. Italian cheeses and meats make a particularly good excuse to linger.

It is relaxed rather than formal, ideal when you fancy a little taste of Italy without making an evening of it.

image

L'Etoile Restaurant

Reserved for MSC Yacht Club guests, L’Etoile is a private, waiter served restaurant on Deck 15, Splendido. Expect gourmet à la carte Mediterranean and international cooking, with local premium ingredients in the spotlight.

A dedicated sommelier can help pair your meal with a wine from the selection. Try the flambéed shellfish bisque if it is on the menu, then make the most of flexible dining times during opening hours.

image

Il Cerchio D'Oro

Grand and panoramic, Il Cerchio d'Oro is the place to settle in for Mediterranean cooking, from lighter choices to more substantial main courses. You will find it aft on Deck 6, Magnifico.

It is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, so it can easily become your reliable table at sea. Dinner is usually arranged in fixed sittings, although My Choice dining lets you eat within opening hours.

image

Butcher's Cut

For a proper steakhouse moment, head to Butcher’s Cut on Deck 7, Sublime. Linz heritage Angus beef is custom-cut by master butchers and aged before it reaches your plate, alongside American-influenced dishes and bold New World wines.

The dry-aged Tomahawk for Two is made for sharing, or make an evening of it with a cocktail. Reservations are subject to availability, so book ahead if steak is firmly on your holiday agenda.

Bars and Lounges

image

Sports Bar

Sports Bar

Catch live events or take on the video games at this themed lounge bar on Deck 7, Sublime. It is a proper pit stop for following the action, whether you are a devoted fan or simply there for the atmosphere.

American finger food, international snacks, cocktails and beers are on hand. Try grilled Yorkshire ham or a Greek kebab with shrimp, then settle in for the next big moment.

image

Il Cappuccino

Il Cappuccino

Il Cappuccino is your handy Deck 7 coffee bar, ideal for a proper pause between shipboard plans. Settle in with a cappuccino or American coffee, with complimentary cookies and pastries alongside.

Fancy swapping the caffeine for something with more evening credentials? An Espresso Martini is on the menu too. With seating for 58, it is a useful spot to catch your breath before carrying on.

image

Piazza San Giorgio

Piazza San Giorgio

Part Italian square, part very civilised pause button, Piazza San Giorgio brings a real stone piazza atmosphere to Deck 6, Magnifico. Settle in with an espresso and freshly baked pastry, then let the live music do the rest.

Authentic gelati are on hand too, making this a fine spot for a sweet treat and a proper sit-down between shipboard plans.

image

The One Bar

The One Bar

For MSC Yacht Club guests, The One Bar is your poolside stop on Deck 18, beside The One Pool at the ship's forward end. Settle into a seat near the water with a signature cocktail, classic Daiquiri, Piña Colada, beer, soft drink or hot drink.

Fancy something off menu? Ask the bartenders to make you something different. Eligible drinks are included with the Yacht Club Premium Extra Drink package, subject to its terms and onboard availability.

image

Fantasia Bar

Fantasia Bar

Fantasia Bar is your handy Deck 5 stop for a drink in the ship’s main foyer, close to reception and guest services. With 129 seats, there is room to settle in, watch the atrium comings and goings, and plan the next excellent use of your time.

Choose from cocktails, wine, beer, soft drinks or coffee, then let the holiday unfold around you. It is a sensible meeting point too, particularly when your party has developed several different ideas about what happens next.

image

Top Sail Lounge

Top Sail Lounge

On Deck 15 at the front of the ship, Top Sail Lounge is the MSC Yacht Club's panoramic retreat, with a grand piano, elegant seating and sea views that do rather steal the show.

You can call in around the clock for craft cocktails, fine wine, coffee or gourmet finger food, with afternoon tea and live music in the evening. Access is exclusively for Yacht Club guests, so pack smart casual for the night.

image

I Tropici

I Tropici

I Tropici is your poolside stop on Deck 14, beside the covered pool and its sliding glass roof. Order a hot or cold drink, fruit juice or cocktail, then settle in while the weather gets on with being unpredictable.

With whirlpool baths nearby, it is an easy place to pause between swims. The pool is included, while bar drinks are chargeable unless your MSC drinks package covers them.

image

Liquid Disco

Liquid Disco

Liquid Disco is MSC Fantasia’s panoramic disco and bar, made for evenings when sitting still feels a bit too sensible. On Deck 16, Aurora, you can take to the dance floor or join a dancing lesson.

A full bar serves drinks and cocktails for a charge, while the 136 seat venue gives you space to settle in between songs. It is nightlife, not dinner, so eat first and save your energy for the dance floor.

image

Gaudi Bar

Gaudi Bar

Gaudì Bar is the inviting aft pool bar on Deck 15, with modern décor and views across the pool area. Settle in between swims or sunny spells, with cocktails, wine, beer and soft drinks on hand.

You will find it beside the Lido Catalano pool area, so it is a handy stop when your lounger requires refreshments.

image

Galaxy Lounge

Galaxy Lounge

Start with dinner in a bright, retro-chic setting inspired by 1950s supper clubs, complete with pink seating and panoramic sea-facing windows.

At 11 p.m., Galaxy Lounge swaps restaurant mode for nightclub mode. Settle in for salsa, reggaeton and 1970s disco, with music videos on the big screen. Dinner first, dancing later, very civilised.

image

Bar delle Fontane

Bar delle Fontane

Pool time has a thirsty sidekick. Bar delle Fontane is the outdoor Aqua Park bar on Deck 14, Miraggio, where you can pick up cocktails, wine, beer or soft drinks without wandering far from the water.

It also serves ice cream, ideal when the sun is doing its thing. With seating for 97 guests, it is a handy spot to pause, cool off and watch the pool-deck action unfold.

image

Aurea SPA Bar

Aurea SPA Bar

Tucked into the Deck 14 wellbeing area, Aurea SPA Bar is a modern spot with comfortable seating and a stylish atmosphere. Pop in for a drink before or after time in the spa, then let the post-treatment glow do the talking.

You will find it alongside the thermal area, gym and massage rooms. The spa area is for guests aged over 18, so this is firmly grown-up downtime.

image

L'Insolito Lounge

L'Insolito Lounge

L’Insolito Lounge on Deck 7 is your after-dark spot for music, shows and a turn on the dance floor. Settle in with a drink from the full bar, then see where the evening takes you.

With room for around 232 guests, it has also hosted bingo and trivia. Entertainment is included, while drinks are payable unless your beverage package covers them.

image

Manhattan Bar

Manhattan Bar

Settle into Manhattan Bar on Deck 7, Sublime, where the mood is metropolitan and the soundtrack leans jazz. Live music gives your evening drink a little more swing.

There is a selection of rare liquors if you fancy trying something beyond your usual order, while trivia quizzes offer a suitably civilised reason to know obscure facts.

image

Il Transatlantico

Il Transatlantico

Settle into Il Transatlantico, MSC Fantasia’s piano and Martini bar on Deck 7. Comfortable seating and a stylish setting make it a fine spot to pause between plans, with live music supplying the soundtrack.

Martini tastings add a little ceremony to your evening. It seats 108 guests, so it is a sociable choice when you fancy a drink with a bit more than background noise.

image

Le Vele

Le Vele

Le Vele is your Deck 6 perch above MSC Fantasia's central atrium. Settle in with a cocktail, wine, beer, coffee or soft drink, then let the foyer's musical entertainment provide the soundtrack.

It is a pleasant choice for an aperitif before dinner, with room for around 98 guests. Arrive with time to spare if you fancy a good view of the atrium below.

image

The Cigar Lounge

The Cigar Lounge

The Cigar Lounge & Cigar Room is a small spot on Deck 6, Magnifico, where you can settle in with a drink and a cigar rather than a full meal. With room for 29 guests, it is made for a quieter pause between the ship’s bigger moments.

Cigar use is for guests aged 18 or over, and smoking is restricted to designated areas. Tobacco is not included in MSC beverage packages, so cigars bought on board cost extra.

image

Casino delle Palme Bar

Casino delle Palme Bar

Fancy a hand of blackjack before dinner, or a spin on the slots after? Casinò delle Palme Bar is MSC Fantasia’s casino and bar on Deck 6, Magnifico, with roulette, poker tables and plenty of room to settle in.

Order a cocktail, wine, beer or soft drink while you play. You must be 18 or over to gamble, and casino games and drinks carry an extra charge.

Activities & Entertainment

image

Il Polo Nord - Baby & Mini Club

Il Polo Nord - Baby & Mini Club

Il Polo Nord on Deck 15, Splendido, gives your younger cruisers their own corner of the ship, with age-appropriate games, organised events and children's entertainment. Mini Club is for ages 3 to 6, while Junior Club covers ages 7 to 11.

Babies under 3 can use the baby-club area with a parent during designated daily Baby Time sessions. Kids' clubs open every day, but check onboard for that day's times.

image

Casino Delle Palme

Casino Delle Palme

Fancy a flutter after the show? Casinò delle Palme is MSC Fantasia’s theatrical gaming venue on Deck 6, Magnifico, with warm orange lighting, patterned carpet and gaming tables.

You must be 18 or over to gamble, or 21 on Alaska sailings. Casino play is charged separately, and the nearby Casinò delle Palme Bar keeps you well placed for a pause between hands.

image

Lido Catalano

Lido Catalano

On Deck 15, Lido Catalano is your adults-only outdoor pool spot, with sea views and a Zen-style setting made for unhurried sunbathing.

Take a dip, claim a lounger and let the nearby Gaudi Bar handle the poolside refreshments. It is published as open from 07:00 to 19:00, so arrive early if a prime sun spot is on your agenda.

image

Teatro L'Avanguardia

Teatro L'Avanguardia

Teatro L’Avanguardia is MSC Fantasia’s futuristic main theatre, spread across decks 6 and 7. Settle in for Broadway-style entertainment, from international musicals and dance to magic, mime, juggling and concerts.

With 1,600 seats and shows usually repeated twice each evening, there is room to fit a performance around dinner. Check your daily onboard programme for that day’s show times.

image

Gallery Plaza

Gallery Plaza

Gallery Plaza is a compact art gallery on Deck 7, the Sublime Deck, where you can take a quiet turn around the artwork between the ship’s livelier entertainment spots.

With room for just four people across 110 square metres, it is more pause than promenade. Pop in when you fancy swapping the arcade bustle for a little culture.

image

MSC Formula Racer

MSC Formula Racer

Take the driver’s seat in MSC Formula Racer, a full-size racing simulator built for a properly high-tech thrill. You can go head-to-head with other racers, with simulated engine acceleration adding a little extra urgency to the race.

Find it on Deck 16, Aurora, near the 4D Cinema. You need to be at least 140cm tall, and access is via the MSC Fun Pass, subject to availability.

image

4D Cinema

4D Cinema

Forget a quiet row of seats and a packet of raisins. On Deck 16, Aurora, this non-interactive 4D Cinema combines motion seats, 3D stereoscopic graphics and visual effects for a film experience that is rather more immersive.

Choose from different film options during your cruise, then arrive during opening hours. Most amusement attractions operate first come, first served, so an early visit is the sensible play.
