Perched above the atrium on Deck 6, Modigliani, L’Aperitivo Bar is made for a well-timed pause. Settle in with a coffee, mocktail, cocktail, wine or beer while the ship moves around you.

It is a busy spot for live music and people-watching, so arrive when you fancy a little atmosphere with your drink. Eligible drink packages may cover selected beverages, depending on your sailing.

Bar del Riccio is a stylish stop on Deck 14, the Raffaello deck, with high stools and a modern counter for a well-timed pause between poolside plans.

Choose from the drinks available across MSC bars, including cappuccino, wine and cocktails. It sits near the Aqua Park and L’Equatore indoor pool, so it is handy when you fancy a drink without straying far from the action. A drinks package may cover eligible choices.

Need a mid-morning cappuccino, or a refreshing drink later on? L’Espresso Coffee Bar on Deck 7, Tiziano, is your bright café-style pause button, with a counter and comfortable seating.

Coffee masters select the different premium blends for quality, so make a proper occasion of your espresso. With 58 seats, it is made for a breather, not a banquet.

La Piazzetta brings the feel of an Italian square to Deck 6, Modigliani. Drop in for pastries, sandwiches or ice cream, then linger over a drink while live music sets an easy-going soundtrack.

It is a handy stop between plans, with seating for 80 guests. No reservation is required, so you can simply follow the scent of something sweet.

At the aft end of Deck 7, The Aft Lounge is where your evening can take a livelier turn. This large show lounge has a stage, dance floor and full bar, with room for up to 268 guests.

Drop in for live music, bingo, trivia or a turn around the dance floor, then let the bartenders handle the drinks. Entertainment is included, while drinks are available to buy unless your package covers them.

A dedicated indoor smoking lounge on Deck 6, The Cigar Lounge gives you a comfortable spot to enjoy a smoke without chasing the weather around the ship.

Drinks are served from 5:00 p.m. until 12:30 a.m., while the lounge is available during the day for indoor smoking. Cigarettes and cigars are sold on board, though tobacco is not covered by MSC drink packages.

On Deck 7, The Purple Jazz Bar gives your evening a proper change of tempo. Settle in as bartenders make drinks with fresh ingredients and carefully sourced beverages, while live music and dancing bring the room to life.

The drinks take their cue from jazz, with fine spirits and molecular cocktails on offer. Published hours are 5:30 p.m. to 1:30 a.m., but check your daily programme as schedules can vary.

Club 33 is MSC Splendida's late night disco and bar, with green seating, a lively atmosphere and room for up to 120 guests. Find it on Deck 16, the Michelangelo deck, when you fancy trading your evening stroll for a dance floor.

It is reported to open from 11 p.m., so check the daily programme for your sailing. Dancing and entertainment are included, while drinks such as cocktails, wine and beer may carry a charge unless your package covers them.

Movida Bar is your quieter outdoor stop beside the Playa del Sol pool, tucked towards the aft of Deck 15. Settle in with a cocktail, wine, beer or soft drink, and let the sea air do the rest.

It is generally reported to open from 10am to 6pm, weather permitting, so make it your daytime poolside plan rather than your after-dark one.

Tartaruga Bar is your open-air stop for a poolside drink on Deck 14, the Raffaello deck. Set beside the Aqua Park, it is well placed for a cocktail, wine, beer or soft drink between dips and lounging.

A drinks package may cover eligible choices here, subject to its terms and venue exclusions. Worth checking before you order that second round.

L’Enoteca is MSC Splendida’s atmospheric wine bar on Deck 7, Tiziano. Sink into a barrel-shaped chair amid wall-embedded wine racks, with premium wines available by the glass. It is rather like a cellar, only with considerably better sea legs.

For a more guided sip, join a tutored tasting of six wine samples served with snacks. L’Enoteca is published as open from 5.00pm to 1.00am, handy for an aperitif or a lingering nightcap.

Sports Bar on Deck 7 is where you can settle in with a beer or cocktail, catch sporting events on the big screens and order casual American game-day snacks. It is an easy answer when lounging has become quite enough exercise.

Fancy proving it? Two ten-pin bowling lanes add a little friendly rivalry, and reservations are not required, so you can pop by when the match, or competitive streak, calls.

Settle into a sofa or armchair at this intimate piano bar on Deck 7, near The Strand Theatre. Live music gives the evening a proper soundtrack, while the lounge-style seating leaves plenty of room for a quieter chat.

Choose from the drinks menu, or try one of the special molecular cocktails prepared by the bar team. Published hours run from 5:30 p.m. to 1 a.m., though your daily programme is the final word.

On Deck 6, the Modigliani deck, this is your pit stop for a drink amid the hum of the Royal Palm Casino. Roulette, blackjack, poker and slot machines provide the backdrop, so you can sip and see where the evening takes you.

Casino play is for guests aged 18 and over, and charges apply. One side of the casino permits smoking, worth knowing before you settle in.

The One Bar is your open air perch on Deck 18, beside The One Pool in the MSC Yacht Club. Settle onto a wooden stool, take in the ocean views and let a signature cocktail, Daiquiri or Piña Colada do the heavy lifting.
