When hunger keeps its own hours, head to Deck 8. O’Sheehan’s is a relaxed, 24-hour pub-style spot for casual comfort food, from battered cod fish and chips with coleslaw and remoulade to a proper Reuben.
Pull up a chair, watch the game and order a beer or cocktail on tap. The food is complimentary, while drinks are the sensible extra.
Alizar
Alizar is Norwegian Jade’s contemporary main dining room on Deck 6, serving a wide variety of dishes with a lighter touch. The menu changes daily, so dinner need not become a rerun.
Look out for Chef’s Signature Dishes and selected wine recommendations, then make room for warm chocolate volcano cake. Reservations are not required, though booking is sensible at peak times.
Garden Cafe
Garden Café on Deck 12 is your easy answer when everyone fancies something different. This indoor buffet serves breakfast, lunch and dinner, with floor to ceiling windows making a plate of pancakes or a leisurely lunch feel rather more scenic.

Grand Pacific is your relaxed Deck 6 dining room, serving classic cuisine with ocean views from breakfast through to dinner. Expect multi course menus with a variety of savoury dishes made from scratch, plus an extensive wine list if dinner calls for a little ceremony.
There are no fixed dining times or assigned seats, so you can eat when it suits you. Casual slacks fit right in, though a little black dress is equally at home here.

Bring your appetite to this Brazilian steakhouse on Deck 13, where the salad bar starts things off with imported cheeses, olives, cured meats and speciality salads.
Then comes rodízio, with passadores carving slow roasted meats such as picanha and bacon wrapped filé mignon at your table. Keep the marker green for more, turn it red when you need a pause. Book before sailing through the NCL website or app.
La Cucina
For Italian classics with a little more occasion, head to La Cucina on Deck 12. The setting is rustic yet chic, with fresh-ingredient pasta, Italian wine and plenty of room for a family meal that need not feel like a committee meeting.
Choose spaghetti carbonara or osso buco, then finish with an affogato, vanilla gelato topped with hot espresso. Reservations are subject to availability, so book through MyNCL or the NCL app before your favourite evening disappears.

Cagney’s Steakhouse on Deck 13 brings American-style steakhouse favourites to your evening, with Premium Black Angus Beef, seafood and attentive service.
