It is a morning-to-late-night favourite, so you can swing by when it suits your plans. Drinks normally cost extra unless your applicable beverage package covers them.

Turn up the tempo at Bliss Ultra Lounge, the high energy Deck 7 nightclub where high voltage music and custom loungers set the mood. Order beer, wine or cocktails, settle in, then see where the evening takes you.

Bliss hosts dancing and nightclub entertainment after dark, while scheduled daytime activities can also appear here. It generally becomes adults only after 11 p.m., so plan your late night accordingly.

Magnum's is your Art Deco stop for Champagne, sparkling wine and other wines, with a look inspired by the grand 1920s liner Normandie. It is a bar, not a dining venue, so come here to raise a glass rather than plan a meal.

On Deck 6 in Bar City, it faces the stage and sits opposite Le Bistro. Make it your pause before dinner, then decide whether one glass is sensible.

Maltings Beer & Whiskey Bar brings a traditional English pub feel to Deck 6, on the starboard side alongside the sea. Pull up a seat for beer, wine, cocktails or spirits from around the world, with the water providing rather better scenery than your local.

There is English pool and large-screen TVs when you fancy a little friendly competition or a match with your drink. It is a natural stop before or after dinner, especially if conversation is the evening's main event.

Tucked inside the Asian restaurant on Deck 7, Sake Bar is a small, full-service stop for premium sake and imported beer. It is ideal when you fancy a proper pre-dinner drink without making an evening of it.

With seating for just six, this is more perch than pub. Arrive early if you have your eye on one of the few seats, then raise a glass before dinner does the heavy lifting.

Shakers Martini Bar on Deck 6 is your cosmopolitan stop for a properly made drink, whether you favour a classic martini or a cool Cosmopolitan. Modern cocktails can be made to your liking, which is rather more civilised than settling for somebody else’s favourite.

Call in for happy hour and make the shaken or stirred question a decision worth taking seriously. You will find other bars and the casino nearby, handy when the evening is still finding its feet.

Poolside hunger need not interrupt your sun lounger routine. On Deck 13, Sky High Bar & Grill pairs sea views and warm breezes with a colourful hot-air-balloon theme.

Pick from grilled ribs, chicken, burgers or hot dogs, with sides and the usual accompaniments. The food is included in your cruise fare, so you can keep lunch easy and your afternoon firmly outdoors.

On Deck 6, Corona Cigar Bar is the place to settle in with a hand rolled premium cigar and let the conversation take its time. Cognacs and spirits complete the offering, for an evening with properly old school appeal.

It is the ship's designated cigar lounge, so you may smoke a cigar here. Leave cigarettes, pipes and vapes elsewhere, as they are not permitted in the lounge.

On Deck 13, Spinnaker Lounge gives you panoramic sea views and a sociable spot for cocktails, catching up with friends or simply watching the world glide by.

Come evening, music takes over and the stage becomes a large dance floor. Entertainment is included in your cruise fare, while alcoholic drinks need a beverage package or are charged separately.

Freshly muddled mint, rum and a little Cuban-inspired flair are the order of the day at Sugarcane Mojito Bar on Deck 13. Settle in with a hand-crafted mojito and let the conversation do the heavy lifting.
