On Deck 11, Sports Bar is your relaxed, come as you are stop for classic pub fare and a game on screen. The Reuben Sandwich and Fish n’ Chips are ready when proper food, rather than another dainty nibble, is required.
It is open 24 hours, so you can call in whenever hunger strikes. Food is included in your cruise fare, while beers and cocktails on tap make a fine extra when the match needs supporting.
Four Seasons
Four Seasons is one of the ship’s main dining rooms, serving a wide-ranging, contemporary take on international cuisine. Set on Deck 5, it is the proper sit-down answer when dinner deserves a little ceremony, twinkling lights and all.
Choose from five courses, with selections changing nightly, then pair your meal with a glass or bottle of wine. You do not need a reservation, but check the Freestyle Daily for that evening’s opening hours.
Garden Cafe
For a relaxed meal on Deck 11, the Garden Café keeps things simple, self-service and included in your fare. You can call in for breakfast, lunch or dinner, with buffet favourites that can include made-to-order omelettes, pasta and a meat-carving station.
Come as you are, more or less. Cruise-casual is perfectly fine, though you will need footwear and a shirt or cover-up if you are arriving from the pool.
Seven Seas
Seven Seas is your complimentary main dining room on Deck 5, pairing traditional cuisine with ocean views. Look out for the stained-glass ocean waves above the entrance, then settle in for a menu that changes daily.
From salads and soups to burgers, main courses and desserts, there is plenty to suit your mood. Breakfast, selected-day lunches and dinner may be available, so check your daily programme for service times.
The Great Outdoors
For a casual bite with a proper sea view, head aft on Deck 11. The Great Outdoors is an open air buffet beyond the Garden Café, where you can tuck into grilled favourites such as burgers and hot dogs while watching the ship's wake.
Come as you are, swimwear included. The adjoining covered bar keeps wine, beer and cocktails within sensible reach.
Los Lobos
Deck 12 brings the flavour at Los Lobos Cantina, a premium Mexican restaurant where traditional favourites get a modern twist. Think al pastor tacos, enchiladas de mole and carne asada marinated with guajillo chillies and tequila.
Fresh guacamole is prepared tableside, while handcrafted margaritas provide a very convincing reason to linger. Book your speciality dining table before you sail through your NCL account or the app.
Moderno Churrascaria
A Brazilian steakhouse on Deck 11, Moderno starts you off properly with a salad bar of imported cheeses, olives, cured meats, speciality salads and ceviche.
Then the passadores arrive, carving slow roasted beef, pork and chicken from skewers at your table. Add a caipirinha if the mood takes you, and reserve ahead for dinner.
La Cucina
For a proper Italian dinner, head to La Cucina on Deck 5. Fresh-ingredient pasta, pizza and hearty classics make this an easy choice when you fancy something familiar, only with the washing-up very much somebody else’s problem.
Go for the spaghetti carbonara or Osso Bucco alla Milanese, then finish with affogato, vanilla gelato topped with hot espresso. With seating for 84, reserve before you sail if you have a particular evening in mind.
Atrium Cafe & Bar
Need a coffee break, a sweet treat, or a mid-day Bloody Mary? Atrium Café & Bar keeps things pleasantly simple, with coffees, espressos, cappuccinos, pastries, chocolate and cocktails available from early morning into the late evening.
You will find it in the heart of the atrium on Deck 5, where you can settle in with ocean views on one side and prime people-watching on the other.
Cagney's Steakhouse
Cagney’s Steakhouse on Deck 12 is where you go when only a proper steak will do. Choose from Premium Black Angus beef and seafood, paired with classic cocktails or something from the extensive wine list.
The Surf & Turf brings filet mignon and lobster tail to the table, while sauces such as chimichurri add a little extra swagger. Book before you sail through NCL’s website or app, then turn up suitably put-together, swimwear need not apply.
Le Bistro
Le Bistro on Deck 12 brings classic French cooking to an intimate setting, with crisp white linens and attentive service setting the tone for a proper date night.
Settle in for escargot or coq au vin, then raise a French 75 or Kir Royale to the good decision. Specialty dining reservations can be made before you sail, subject to availability.
Sushi Bar
For a contemporary Japanese bite on Deck 12, pull up a chair at the Sushi Bar. You can keep it classic with nigiri or sashimi, or go for a Dragon Roll, Rainbow Roll or the rather less traditional Tuna Pizza.
Pair your pick with sake, perhaps Gekkeikan or Momokawa Pearl. Some sushi, nigiri and sashimi may be raw or undercooked, so let your server know about any food allergies before ordering.
Teppanyaki
Pull up a seat around the large steel grill on Deck 12, where your meal comes with a little theatre. Chefs slice, dice, juggle and flip ingredients as shrimp, steak, chicken and fried rice hit the grill in front of you.
Leave the swimwear for the pool. Shirts and footwear are required in restaurants, and Matcha Green Tea Cake with cashew nut brittle is a fittingly green finale.

You can reserve a treatment for a specific day and time, so fit in your bit of calm before the good intentions are replaced by another lazy afternoon. Spa treatments and facilities are for guests aged 18 and over, except designated youth programmes.

On Deck 11, Pulse Fitness Centre makes a compelling case for packing trainers. Lift weights, stretch or work out with 270-degree ocean views, because staring at a wall is so last landlubber.
Use of the gym is included, while some fitness classes cost extra. You must be 16 or over, and can book classes onboard at the centre or Mandara Spa reception.

The Oasis Pool on Deck 11 gives you two outdoor pools, nearby sunbeds and deck chairs, plus hot tubs for an unhurried soak. Swim, settle in with a book, or simply perfect the art of doing very little.
Pool access is included, and poolside cocktails or beer can be arranged under NCL’s usual beverage terms. Keep swimwear to the pool area, and remember that anyone under 16 needs an adult with them in the hot tubs.

Kids can make their own plans at Splash Academy, Norwegian Sun's supervised club on Deck 7 for ages 3 to 12. Creative play, sports competitions, themed adventures and parties keep young cruisers happily occupied while you enjoy a little grown-up time.
Register onboard early, as spaces depend on availability and the ship's operating schedule. Children must be fully potty trained for drop off. The complimentary service runs while sailing, with paid late night sessions from 10 p.m. to midnight.
