The delightful Norwegian Sun was built specifically to accommodate Norwegian Cruise Lines new Freestyle concept, offering a fantastic choice of recreation, dining, and accommodation options. She has a remarkable range of high-quality restaurants including Italian, French, Japanese and Brazilian specialities. She also has a great variety of spa and pool areas, activities for all age groups, and live entertainment venues.

During her three-week bow-to-stern renovation in May 2018, she received refreshed staterooms, restaurants and public spaces, as well as three new venues - Bliss Ultra Lounge, Los Lobos Cantina, and Spinnaker Lounge. Her destinations include: the Bahamas & Florida, Caribbean, Cuba, as well as Panama Canal, and South America.

Four Seasons

This stylish main dining room which only opens for dinner. You will find it on deck five, and it opens daily between 5:00 PM to 9:30 PM for waiter served dinner. It is the smaller of the two dining rooms, with panoramic views of the sky and sea and the same five course menu as offered in the Seven Seas Dining Room. This is a great choice for those looking for healthy and lower calorie options.

The Seven Seas

This second main dining room opens daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Breakfast is at 7:30 AM to 9:30 AM, lunch from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM and dinner between 5:30 PM to 10:30 PM. Liker her sister ships, the Norwegian Sun follows a freestyle concept which means that they do not have set eating times and pre-assigned seating. You decide what and where to eat and also at what time.

Garden Cafe

The lovely Garden Cafe buffet offers plenty of space but the seats become much busier during their peak hours that range from 8 to 9:30 am on port days and noon to 1 pm for lunch on sea days. They serve daily breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as having some evening snacks available.

Great Outdoors Cafe

This is the part of the Garden Cafe that has outside seating. It is less crowded, making it ideal for those looking for a quiet meal when weather permits.

Moderno Churrascaria

This delightful South American restaurant has an a la carte menu and opens daily for dinner. It's located on deck eight and operates on a red and green card system. This great feature means that if you pick green, the waiters will keep offering you tasty skewers of barbecued meats which is carved at your table and once you are full, you simply indicate your red card to stop service. It is a real treat and comes highly recommended to meat lovers. This intimate restaurant serves up to 62 guests and you are welcome to make reservations via the ship's reservations desk located on deck 7.

La Cucina

This brilliant a la carte dining venue offers fantastic Italian food like pizza and pasta, fresh salads, Italian desserts, great wine and Italian drinks like espresso and cappuccinos to round off your meal. Children are welcome and those under the age of twelve can eat for free from the normal kid's menu.

Le Bistro

This remarkable restaurant has classically French decor and offers remarkable views because of the large windows spanning its entire length. It has some of the best French cuisine available ranging from appetisers, soups and salads to meats and seafood, and some classic desserts such as Apple Tatin and Creme Brulee.

Ginza Sushi

Here, you can grab a seat at the bar and watch the chefs roll your sushi to order. Ten types of rolls are available, plus sashimi and nigiri upon request. You can also book a table if you plan to stay at the restaurant for longer.

Teppanyaki

This intimate Japanese dining venue only serves a small number of guests at any one time, so reservations come highly recommended. This unique restaurant allows you to see Japanese hibachi meals cooked in front of you by chefs performing tricks with the food and their cooking utensils.

Los Lobos

This colourful cantina-style restaurant serves upscale Mexican fare, which includes plates to share, appetisers, salads, tacos, enchiladas, and house specials.

Cagney's Steakhouse

Cagney's is an exquisite a la carte restaurant with a lovely traditional thirties steak house feel. Some of the menu highlights include: several steak cuts along with lamb, veal and pork chops; surf and turf; grilled yellowfin tuna steak, grilled salmon, jumbo shrimp skewers and a fried fisherman's platter.
