Settle into the Arena Theatre for Magic Moments, a musical theatre production following the life and music of composer Burt Bacharach. It is a proper sit-back-and-watch affair, with the stage doing the talking.

The ship’s main theatre sits forward across Decks 6 and 7, with two seating levels. A fine choice for an evening when you fancy a little song, dance and theatre without lifting more than a finger.

On the Horizon is a live production that brings Ventura's cruise programme to life through song and dance. Stage lighting, fog and haze add a little theatre to the theatre.

How well do you really know your other half? WaveLength is an interactive gameshow for couples, where matching your partner’s answers is the whole point. It is virtually hosted by television presenter Ben Shephard, so expect a few revealing moments.

Astonishing brings magic, dance and illusion to Ventura's Arena Theatre, with large LED-screen effects, audience surprises and feats that appear to politely ignore the laws of physics.

Created for P&O Cruises by Stephen Mulhern and Jonathan Wilkes, it is included in your fare. Check the onboard programme for performance times, then settle in and prepare to ask, quite reasonably, how on earth they did that.

Four pools mean you can choose your patch of water, from Oasis Pool on Sun Deck 16 to Terrace Pool on Riviera Deck 14. There are also six whirlpool spas, for when a proper swim feels wildly ambitious.

Fancy a little after dinner suspense? Fortune's Casino on Deck 6 is where you can try the gaming tables or slot machines, with drinks available next door at The Exchange.

It is for over 18s, and indoor smoking is not permitted. Check your daily Horizon programme onboard for opening times, then decide whether Lady Luck is feeling chatty.

Need a quieter chapter in your day? Ventura’s Library on Deck 6 is a comfortable spot to settle into a well-stocked book, surrounded by shelves and lounge-style seating.

You can also swap pages for a jigsaw puzzle when the mood takes you. It sits near the Atrium and beside the bookshop, so it is easy to find between more energetic plans.

Take a cultured detour to The Art Gallery by Clarendon Fine Art on P Deck, Deck 5, where more than 200 20th century and contemporary works are carried onboard. The collection changes through your holiday, so a second browse is entirely sensible.

You can chat to an art consultant or join an entertaining seminar, held on most sea days. Sign up at the start of your cruise if private gallery events catch your eye. Browsing and events are included, while buying artwork is separate.

On Sun Deck, Deck 16, The Oasis Spa and Salon is where you swap your to do list for a massage, facial, acupuncture session or a little salon time. Hair styling, colouring and barbering are also on the menu, should you fancy looking as rested as you feel.

The 2026 refresh brought three Japanese head rituals, designed to relax, restore and support hair and scalp health. Book through My P&O Cruises until three days before your holiday, then book on board.

A proper spruce-up at sea, The Barber Shop brings classic grooming to Ventura’s Oasis Spa and Salon on Deck 16. You can opt for a haircut or a deep-cleansing shave, then head back out looking suitably shipshape.

Keep your routine in shipshape condition at The Gym and Fitness Studio on Deck 16, the Sun Deck. You can use the fully equipped gym, with treadmills, weights, bikes, cross trainers and steppers, then swap the sea legs for a complimentary FitSteps® class.

It is open daily from 8am to 8pm. Pack proper fitness kit and training shoes for classes, although yoga, meditation and Pilates are best enjoyed barefoot.

Keep your routine moving with guided group sessions led by expert trainers in the Fitness Studio on Sun Deck, Deck 16, beside the Oasis Spa.

Complimentary classes include FitSteps®, while some specialist sessions may carry a charge. Bring proper fitness clothing and training shoes, or go barefoot for yoga, meditation and Pilates.

Ventura’s Shore Experiences take you beyond the gangway, with locally curated adventures shaped around each destination. You could be sightseeing, joining a cooking masterclass or heading for beach time, depending on the itinerary.
