Quantum of the Seas is a Royal Caribbean cruise ship and the flagship of their Quantum class ships. She spent her first two inaugural year in Cape Florida, New Jersey before she repositioned to her new home port in Shanghai, China in mid-2015.

Royal Caribbean calls Quantum of the seas the world's first smart ship due to its fast internet and Google street view technology on board. This technology allows you to have access all areas on board, to get the know the ship before you even make the booking, and to familiarise yourself with the on-board facilities and see if this is the perfect ship for you.

Jamie's Italian

This Jamie Oliver restaurant on deck five opens daily for lunch and dinner. It was one the first of Oliver's restaurants at sea and is on the upper level of the Royal Esplanade. Lunch and dinner menus are the same, with lunch being between noon and 1:30 PM and dinner being between 6:00 and 9:30 PM. We will let you into an insider tip: this is a great place to go for the most affordable wines on board.

Johnny Rockets

This restaurant, which is a mainstay on the Royal Caribbean's cruise ships, is perfect for casual dining. Located on deck 14 next to the pool, this is a restaurant suitable for the whole family and don't mind guests showing up in shorts and swim suits. Open between 11:30 AM and 7 PM, this fifties style diner allows you to place your order at the bar after which they will notify you when your order is ready.

Wonderland

Wonderland is an intimate 62-seat restaurant on deck five, which caters to the real foodies on board. It opens for dinner daily and reservations and smart-casual dress code applies. This is more than a dinner but more of a multi-sensory experience, where you pick your dishes according to an element (wind, ice, fire, sea, earth, dreams) and enjoy the unusual and exotic treats on offer. Not recommended for picky eaters.

Schooner Bar

The Schooner piano bar on deck 5 is a popular gathering space, where you can meet up with friends and family. At certain times the resident piano player will take requests or even encourage sing alongs. We simply love this nautical styled bar and all the effort that went into it feel like the inside of a very old wooden ship.

Michael's Genuine Pub

This British style pub on deck four was created by Miami celebrity chef, Michael Schwartz, and has a la carte pricing. Expect traditional country pub specials such a pickles and devilled eggs, pork scratchings as well as banger and mash. It is open daily from 11 AM to 1 AM.

Bionic Bar

If you have ever wanted to have your cocktail mixed by a 'robot' this is the place to experience it. Based on deck five, the Bionic Bar has two robot bar tenders, which mix up the perfect drink, every time. You can place your order on the tablet and then see on screen, which ingredients are going into the mix and when it is ready.

Royal Theatre

The Royal Theatre spans decks three, four and five and have some brilliant shows. In fact, Royal Caribbean was the first cruise line to feature fully licensed, Tony Award-winning Broadway productions such as MAMMA MIA!

SeaPlex

The SeaPlex on deck 15 is the ship's new indoor sporting and entertainment arena. This is a truly multi-functional area, which will be the highlight for the sporty types on board. Activities range from bumper cars, to circus school and roller skating. This is a family friendly area and it has a live DJ every night, if you feel like taking part in some roller disco fun. The area has its own food truck and various activity rooms where guests of all ages can play games from foosball and air hockey, to table tennis and interactive games.

Basketball Court

This sports court is a full-sized outdoor basketball court located on deck fifteen. It is just outside the SeaPlex and can also be used for football, volleyball and badminton.

Adventure Ocean Kids Club

The Adventure Ocean Kids Club caters for three to seventeen-year-olds and split them into five groups: Aquanauts, Explorers, Voyagers, Navigators and Teens.
