Your floating resort

Enchantment of the Seas is a Royal Caribbean Vision-class cruise ship, which currently cruises in the Bahamas year-round. Home porting in Port Canaveral, Florida, she does two weekly cruises: a four-night cruise to Nassau and Coco Bay, and a three-night weekend cruise to the Bahamas, Coco Bay and Nassau.

She had a refurbishment in 2005, which added on a 73-foot midsection and some great new facilities and activities. The ship offers scrumptious dining, fantastic entertainment and exiting activities, all while you explore some of the world's most breath-taking destinations. The new mid-section offers a bigger pool deck, new suspension bridges, a Ben and Jerry's ice scream stand as well as a Boleros Latin Lounge and ritzy Champagne bar.

Windjammer

Press play on variety and flavour at Windjammer on Enchantment of the Seas, the bustling buffet that makes every meal feel like a mini-adventure. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner and included in your cruise fare, Windjammer serves global favourites from made-to-order omelettes and wood-fired pizza to carving stations, fresh salads and an irresistible dessert island. Live-cooking stations mean pasta, stir-fries and grilled dishes arrive hot, and plenty of vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options keep every palate happy. Family-friendly seating, sea-facing views and speedy, guest-first service make it perfect for shore-excursion refuels, late-night snacks or feeding a hungry crew after a day of exploring.

Captain's table

You will find the Captain's table in the centre of Enchantment of the Seas' main dining room. As the name suggests, its where the ship's captain and other top-level staff enjoy dinner with a few selected passengers. Passengers can get access to the table via an invite and the food and drink on offer is impeccable, as is the service, and the conversation is mostly very interesting.

Each ship has a different way of choosing who to invite to the table, sometimes its regular cruisers, sometimes first timers, or people who are celebrating a significant mile stone in their life. If you're lucky enough to be invited, make sure you dress up for the occasion.

Park Cafe

The "go to" for value in Cruises

We have used Cruise Nation several times and found their service to be very attentive. Prices are fair and our most recent contact - Charlie - was very knowledgeable and helpful- and no dreadful attempts to "upsell" just sound advice. We see them as our...
