Scarlet Night turns Valiant Lady into a theatrical, adults-only celebration, with pop-up performances, live music, karaoke and secret bars unfolding across Decks 6 and 7. Follow the tale of the Octopus Goddess and her Sailor, before the main finale brings the energy poolside on Deck 15, weather permitting.

Start at the Roundabout on Deck 6 or 7 at the advertised time, then follow the cast. Red is encouraged, not required, so wear what feels right.

The Manor is Valiant Lady’s signature two-storey nightclub, spread across Decks 6 and 7. Inspired by 1970s New York nightlife, it has a big dance floor and the sort of after-dark energy that makes checking the time feel frankly unnecessary.

Come for live music, themed parties, comedy-led performances or a proper dance, then order drinks as the night gathers pace. Entertainment is included, while alcoholic drinks and signature beverages are extra. Check the Virgin Voyages app for that sailing’s programme.

A sleek, social spot for a spin, a hand or a little people watching, The Casino sits on Deck 6 beside The Casino Bar. Try blackjack, baccarat, roulette, craps or the slot machines, without needing a tuxedo or a poker face.

New to the table? Complimentary gaming lessons run on every sailing, so you can learn the ropes before placing a bet. Games usually begin around 30 minutes after sailing, once the ship reaches international waters.

Take the mic without taking on the whole ship. The Groupie is a bookable private karaoke lounge on Deck 7, with modernist Japanese-style rooms designed for solos, duets or a full-blown group singalong.

Pick your track, pass the microphone and give it some welly. You can also use the private rooms for gaming or a movie when your vocal cords fancy a quiet night.

Voyage Vinyl is the record shop for anyone who still knows an album is more than a playlist. Browse music from across the eras and genres, then settle in at a personal listening station to sample current and classic albums.

Limited and special editions make a fine find for your collection. You can also pick up music magazines, headphones and record players, with retail purchases charged separately.

Make your sea days work for you at B-Complex on Deck 15, where Technogym equipment and ocean views give strength, cardio and cycling sessions a rather better backdrop than the usual gym wall.

Choose Burn + Bike for group cycling, or Build + Balance for yoga, stretching, HIIT and meditation. Personal training is bookable if you fancy a little extra guidance.

Training Camp on Deck 16 is where you can swap the sun lounger for a proper session, with Technogym ARTIS equipment, indoor functional training and outdoor MyBeast kit. HIIT, bungee and boxing sessions keep things agreeably un-routine.

Group fitness classes are included in your voyage fare. Book your place after boarding through the Virgin Voyages App, then check the app for that day’s gym hours.

The Runway is Valiant Lady’s outdoor, Virgin-red running track on Deck 17, a 255-metre loop with ocean views. Come for a proper run, a brisk walk or, if your footwear and confidence agree, a strut.

It is beside The Perch and linked to The Athletic Club, so you can make your sea day as energetic, or as gently mobile, as you please.

On Deck 5, Redemption is your underwater-cave-inspired spa and thermal suite, a mermaid-and-merman hideaway for proper switching off. You can move between the mud room, salt room, sauna, steam room and hot or cold plunge pools.

Settle onto a heated marble hammam bench, or book a hot mineral massage or vitamin-infused facial. Reserve in the Virgin Voyages app or onboard, and keep drinks in reception only, not in the Thermal Suite.

Give your hands and feet a little sea-day attention at this Deck 15 nail salon, where pedicures come with some of the ship’s best ocean views.

Choose from organic soaks, manicures, pedicures and decorative nail art. You can bring a beverage along too, provided you keep things pleasantly relaxed for everyone.

Dry Dock is your Deck 6 stop for a little polish before dinner, whether you fancy a blowout, instant highlights or a conditioning treatment. There are brow, lash and full drag over services too, because a sea day can be as glamorous as you decide.

Stubble & Groom is Valiant Lady's British barbershop with a mid century look and an ocean view, for when your holiday haircut needs more than a quick comb through. Choose from hot lather shaves, haircuts, beard trims, express cuts and hip fades.

You can pair your barbering with Whisky with your Whiskers, or settle in for a pedicure beside the porthole. It is on Deck 6, and you can reserve through the Virgin Voyages app or at Redemption Spa once on board.

Make your time at sea properly permanent at this Deck 6 tattoo studio, tucked into the central Roundabout. Squid Ink blends maritime tattoo tradition with a rock and roll edge, using cruelty-free vegan ink.

You can choose a tattoo, piercing or permanent makeup. Pop in for a one-to-one consultation on embarkation day, as appointments are arranged in person once you are onboard.
