United Airlines

If your Smart Package includes United Airlines scheduled flights, Cruise Nation will issue your e-tickets approximately 14 days prior to travel, these tickets will need to be printed by you and presented at the airport to the United Airlines check in desk where you will then be provided with your boarding passes. Online check-in for your flight is available 24 hours before departure. Please ensure the airline locator is presented at check-in for your flight – this reference can be found on your booking confirmation. Full flight details are provided on your confirmation invoice that has already been provided.

ADVANCE PASSENGER INFORMATION

Advance Passenger Information (also known as API or APIS) means your Passport/Identity Card details and in some instances, your contact information, are provided to the authorities before you travel.

United Airlines may only provide each country's Customs & Immigration authorities with the relevant API or booking data required by law. This is governed by Data Protection laws applicable in the UK and the requesting country.

It is important that you provide API for each passenger travelling with you. Any inaccurate or incomplete data provided could delay your journey, either at check-in or with the immigration authorities. Cruise Nation nor United Airlines cannot accept responsibility for incorrect or incomplete data provided

HOW CAN I PROVIDE MY API DATA?

Please go to the website www.united.com. Click on “Reservations” at the top of the screen then click on “Change/view existing reservations”. On the next page click the circle next to “Flight” then enter your United Airlines confirmation number and your surname then click “Find”. Scroll half way down the page until you get to “Traveller(s)” then click on “Edit traveller information” underneath each passenger’s name. This is where you will fill out your API details, when this is complete click on “Submit” at the bottom of the page.

WHEN DO I NEED TO HAVE PROVIDED MY API BY?

Ideally you should have provided your API by no later than 21 days prior to travel. United Airlines will accept data from the moment that your booking has been made through us.
