If your Smart Package includes Virgin Atlantic scheduled flights, Cruise Nation will issue your e-tickets approximately 14 days prior to travel, these tickets will need to be printed by you and presented at the airport to the Virgin Atlantic Airways check in desk where you will then be provided with your boarding passes. Online check in for international flights opens 24 hours before the scheduled departure of your flight and closes 2 hours before. Please ensure the airline locator is presented at check-in for your flight – this reference can be found on your booking confirmation. Full flight details are provided on your confirmation invoice that has already been provided.

ADVANCE PASSENGER INFORMATION

Advance Passenger Information (also known as API or APIS) means your Passport/Identity Card details and in some instances, your contact information which are provided to the authorities before you travel.

Virgin Atlantic may only provide each country's Customs & Immigration authorities with the relevant API or booking data required by law. This is governed by Data Protection laws applicable in the UK and the requesting country.

It is important that you provide API for each passenger travelling with you. Any inaccurate or incomplete data provided could delay your journey, either at check-in or with the immigration authorities. Cruise Nation nor Virgin Atlantic Airways cannot accept responsibility for incorrect or incomplete data provided.

HOW CAN I PROVIDE MY API DATA?

Please go to the website www.virgin-atlantic.com. Click on “My Booking” at the top of the screen, enter your first name, surname and Virgin Atlantic booking reference then click “Find my booking”. Once in the booking, next to “Passenger information” click on “View details” and click on “Edit details” to enter your contact details. Once you have entered your contact details click on “Save” then click on “Back to my booking” at the bottom of the page.

You will then need to click on “View details” next to “Passport information” and click on “Edit details” to enter your API. Once you have entered each passengers API details click on “Continue”, check over the details entered and then click on “Confirm details are correct”. You will be taken back to the main page where it will now say complete next to each passenger’s name.

WHEN DO I NEED TO HAVE PROVIDED MY API BY?

Ideally you should have provided your API by no later than 21 days prior to travel. Virgin Atlantic Airways will accept data from the moment that your booking has been made through us.
