On Deck 10, the adults-only Solarium is your indoor escape for a proper switch-off. Float in the saltwater pool, settle onto a padded lounger or take the freshwater whirlpool for a spin, with waterfalls adding a suitably theatrical touch.

It is generally for guests aged 16 and over, and the pool and whirlpool are listed as open from 7:00am to 11:00pm. Ideal for a quiet dip when the weather has other ideas.

By day, head to Deck 11 for broad views over the bow through floor-to-ceiling windows on three sides. It is a smart spot for sightseeing and whatever onboard activities are on the programme.

Come evening, the lounge finds its dancing shoes, with a dance floor, full-service bar and selected-night live entertainment. Settle in with a cocktail, then see where the night takes you.

On Deck 10, The Spa is your quiet corner for beauty, fitness and wellness. Choose from massages, facials, body wraps and salon services, or unwind in the Persian Garden, where aromatic steam and tropical rain showers do much of the talking.

Bring your bathing suit for the Persian Garden, while robes and towels are provided. Treatments can be reserved before you sail, from six months until three days before embarkation, or ask onboard for walk-in availability.

On Deck 10, The Fitness Center gives you a proper place to move, with weight machines and cardio equipment for a pre breakfast session or a post dessert reset. Water fountains are on hand, so bring your bottle and get on with it.

At least four complimentary classes run daily, including body strength, cardio circuit, meditation and breathing. You must be 16 or over to use the facilities. RYDE, The HIIT and some specialist sessions cost extra, so reserve ahead if one takes your fancy.

Camp at Sea on Deck 11 gives children aged 3 to 12 their own place to make, play and get stuck into the day, from Creation Station arts and crafts to scavenger hunts and movie nights.

Groups are tailored by age, while teens aged 13 to 17 have XClub for gaming tournaments, sports and socialising. Standard sessions are complimentary, though late-night care from 10:00pm to 1:00am carries an extra charge.

When you fancy a change from sea views, head to the Video Arcade on Deck 11, the Sunrise Deck. It is a small gaming spot near the Fun Factory, Constellation Lounge and X Club.

Put your skills to the test with car racing and gun-battle games. A handy option for a little screen-time competition between everything else on board.

A good hair day has no business ending at the gangway. The Hair Salon on Deck 10, within The Spa, is a full service beauty salon partnered with Kérastase, with haircare treatments and colour enhancing rituals on the menu.

You can also choose salon staples such as manicures, pedicures, brows, lashes and make up application. For hair treatments, your appointment begins with a customised diagnostic. Pre book from six months until three days before you sail, subject to availability.

Fancy shooting hoops with the sea as your backdrop? Head to the netted rooftop court on Deck 12, where you can practise three-pointers, take on a one-on-one challenge or join a guest tournament.

Bring suitable footwear and clothing, assess your fitness and follow any posted rules or staff directions. The views are ocean-sized, even if your jump shot is not.

Pickleball brings tennis, badminton and ping-pong together for a game that is rather easier to pick up than it looks. Head to the open-air Sports Court on Deck 12, where panoramic ocean views make even a missed shot feel fairly well spent.
