A chic spot on Deck 7, Michelangelo, for a glass of champagne or another sparkling wine when the occasion calls for bubbles. Pair your pick with fresh oysters, caviar or fish, then raise a glass to having excellent taste.

Pool time, with a little more good sense in the glass. Safari Bar is MSC Grandiosa’s pool juice bar on Deck 15, where you can relax beside the Safari Pool with freshly made nutritional drinks.

It sits in the Solarium, so the retractable roof keeps the pool area usable when the weather is feeling less Mediterranean. A sensible stop between swims, or simply between doing very little at all.

Nightly live music and dancing bring a livelier mood after dark. It generally opens in the evening, so check your daily programme before you head over.

An atmospheric British pub on Deck 7, Michelangelo, Masters of the Sea is made for dropping in when a pint and a proper sit-down sound like excellent planning.

Choose from a selection of beers, catch live music, or order casual favourites such as fish and chips, bangers and mash, sandwiches and burgers. With 81 seats, it is a handy spot to settle in before the good seats disappear.

On Deck 5, Caravaggio, Infinity Bar is your smart little pause before dinner, or whenever the atrium calls for a change of scene. Settle into the modern surroundings and let the day slow down for a moment.

Choose a traditional aperitif, an MSC Signature Cocktail or a contemporary classic. There are beers, Coladas, soft drinks, coffee and tea too, so nobody need feel left out of the round.

Need a breather from the tables? Le Grand Casino is the spacious bar within MSC Grandiosa's casino, serving selected cocktails, mocktails, beer, wine and fine spirits.

You will find it on Deck 7, Michelangelo Deck, in the Galleria Grandiosa. Casino play costs extra, and you must be 18 or over to gamble, or 21 on Alaska sailings.

For an aperitif with a proper view, head to this adults-only lounge on Deck 18. Floor-to-ceiling windows look over the Atmosphere Pool and sun deck, while comfortable seating gives you somewhere to settle in.

Order a drink or after-dinner cocktail, then let the live piano music do its thing. It is an easy choice when you fancy a quieter pause between the pool and the evening ahead.

For match day at sea, make for the Sports Bar on Deck 16, beside Galleria Grandiosa. Sleek furnishings and large windows keep the setting smart, while the atmosphere stays pleasingly casual.

Settle in with draft or bottled beer, cider or a cocktail, and make room for a complimentary hot dog. You bring the sporting opinions. They are likely to be strong.

At the aft end of Deck 16, Horizon Bar puts you beside the Horizon Pool and Horizon Amphitheatre, with striking sea views doing much of the heavy lifting.

You will find it on Deck 15, CÉZANNE, beside the Atmosphere Ice Cream Bar. Fresh, hot-off-the-grill specialities make this an easy choice for casual poolside eating too.

Reserved for MSC Yacht Club guests, this forward-facing Deck 16 lounge pairs panoramic sea views with complimentary premium beverages and gourmet finger food served at various times.

Call in for the High Tea moment, then settle in for live music every evening. Swimwear is not permitted during the day, and smart-casual dress is required at night, so save the flip-flops for the solarium.
