One of Princess' largest ships, the Crown Princess can accommodate up to 3,080 passengers. The vessel pioneered some of Princess Cruise's most popular features, including an adults-only sun deck and a three-story central piazza that's great for relaxing and people-watching.

As of 2015, the Crown Princess sails to Mexico for the Winter season, and Alaska for the Summer season. Like her sister ships, the Ruby Princess and Emerald Princess, her Skywalkers Night Club is built aft of the funnel rather than suspended over the stern. An interesting factoid is that her godmother is Martha Stewart.

Michelangelo Main Dining Room

This flexible main dining room opens for dinner every day between 5:30 PM and 10 PM. It can be found on deck five at the Plaza and offers flexible anytime seating arrangements and you can get a table for two if you want a more intimate dining experience.

All of the main dining rooms offer the same 4 course dinner menu, where you can choose between the classics being served every night and the nightly themed dishes, which changes every day. They have some really good staples that are always available, including steaks, salmon and chicken breast meals.

Da Vinci

This formal dining room opens daily for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. It is on deck six and offers breakfast from 7.30 am and 9.30 am, afternoon tea from 3.30 PM to 4.30 PM and Princess' Anytime Seating option for dinner between 7.30 pm to 10 pm.

Examples of lunch choices include hamburgers, chef's salad, roast beef sandwiches, tortilla soup, and fried catfish.

Botticelli

This formal dining room is one of three main dining rooms on board and it opens for dinner daily from 6 PM to 10:00 PM. It is the Crown Princess' traditional dining room where you can eat dinner at the same table and time every night, with the early seating being at 6 Pm and late being at 8:15 PM. This means that you'll get to know your table mates pretty well during the cruise.

Vegetarian options such as fettuccine alfredo aubergine lasagne and are also available along with healthy options offered by the Lotus Spa.

Crown Grill

This select seafood and steakhouse dining venue opens for dinner daily. You will find it on the promenade deck (seven) next to the Crown Princess' other premium restaurants. It can seat up to 160 guests and reservations are recommended between the opening times of 6 PM and 11 PM.

You can choose to sit at the kitchen counter if you want to see how your food is prepared, or you can choose to sit at one of the comfortable tables or booths instead. The restaurant has its own cocktail bar with some impressive cocktail offerings.

Bars and Lounges

Crooners Lounge and Bar

This piano bar is located midship on deck seven at the Promenade and opens daily from 1 pm onwards. It has the decor and vibe of a classic Martini bar and it offers evening entertainment such as live piano players that take requests or have name that tune contests.

Vines Wine and Seafood Bar

This lovely wine bar can be found on deck 5 at the Plaza, and it opens daily from 11 AM to 11 PM. When you buy your drinks, you will be able to enjoy the great complimentary tapas and sushi on offer. They serve an exciting mix of new and old-world wines and you can choose whether you want to buy a glass or take part in a wine tasting.

Wheelhouse Bar

This pub can be found on deck seven at the Promenade and it usually open at around 4 PM. It's the perfect spot to enjoy some live music and dancing. It also offers a free traditional British style pub lunch on certain days.

Activities & Entertainment

Princess Theatre

This main theatre is the Crown Princess' biggest entertainment venue which spans decks six and seven. It features the main production shows, singers, entertainers and comedians at night, as well as demonstrations, workshops and seminars during the day.

Gatsby's Casino

The ships main casino can be found on the Fiesta Deck (deck six). It features its own bar and is only open for guests over the age of 21. New players can take part in complimentary gaming sessions to teach them the ropes. Those who need no introduction will enjoy the wide variety of games on offer ranging from slots and video poker machines to table game such as poker, roulette, craps and blackjack. Or if bingo is your game of choice, you can take part in their daily bingo sessions.

Movies Under the Stars

This Under the Stars cinema has a 300 square foot outdoor LED screen, perfect to enjoy various concerts, sporting events and movies. You will find it on deck 16 above the Calypso pool with further seating on deck 18 providing you with an uninterrupted view. This is a great place for the whole family to enjoy a movie, complete with special touches such as free popcorn, cookies and milks and blankets on chilly evenings.
