Diamond Princess is a cruise ship owned and operated by Princess Cruises, which was voted the best international ship in Japan by a Cruise Magazine's reader's poll. She was debuted back in March 2004 and mostly do cruises in Asia during the summer and then repositions to Australia for their winter season.

She can accommodate up to 2,670 guests and is a sub classed Grand Class ship, which is also known as a Gem Class ship. Along with her sister ship, the Sapphire Princess, the Diamond is the widest subclass of Grand-class ships. They have a 37.5 m beam while all other Grand Class ships have a beam of 36 m. Both these ships were both built in Nagasaki, Japan by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries.

Santa Fe Dining Room

This flexible dining main dining room opens daily for dinner between 5:30 PM and 10 PM. It forms part of the Diamond Princess' five main dining rooms, which all share the same four course dinner with the exceptions of one speciality dish specific to restaurant. Santa Fe's speciality dish is steak or fajitas.

Savoy Dining Room

This flexible dining main dining room is on the Plaza deck and opens daily for lunch between 11.30 am and 2 pm and dinner between 5.30 pm and 10 pm. Their lunches are based on British style pub lunches such as bangers and mash, steak and kidney pie, and bread and butter pudding. They also have plenty of British beers and ciders on offer. They share their menu with the other four main dining rooms and have an option of an 'always available menu' is also provided including salmon, chicken breasts, steaks, and its Lotus Spa healthy options.

Vivaldi Dining Room

This main dining room is based on the Plaza Deck and offers formal and flexible dining and opens for dinner every night between 5:30 PM and 10 PM. If you are interested in their formal traditional dining you can eat at 5:30 PM but if you prefer to make use of their anytime dining feature, you can eat between 8 PM and 10 PM.

Pacific Moon Dining Room

This flexible dining and main dining room is an afternoon tea and dinner venue located on the Diamond Princess' Fiesta deck. It opens for afternoon tea between 3.30 pm to 4.30 pm and offers anytime dinner dining between 5.30 pm and 10 pm.

International Dining Room

This formal dining main dining room opens daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner. It's located on the ship's Fiesta deck and the meal times are as follows: breakfast is at 7 am to 9 am lunch is between 12 PM to 1.30 PM on sea days, and the two formal dinner seatings is at either 5.30 pm or 8 pm.
