Serenade of the Seas is the third Royal Caribbean Radiance class cruise ship, which was completed and debuted in 2003. She was built at Meyer Werft yard in Papenburg. Other ships in the Royal Caribbean Radiance class include Jewel of the Seas, Brilliance of the Seas and Radiance of the Seas.

This is a medium size ship, coming in at just under Panamax measurements (with literally a foot to spare) which means, like her sister ships, she can sail almost anywhere in the world. And she shares their beautiful Radiance design of having almost three acres of exterior glass in her design. The Serenade definitely provides great value for money for both families and groups of friends.

Games Reserve Room

Games Reserve Room

Billiard players may want to give the Serenade' tables a go as she was one of the first cruise ships to have her billiards tables stabilised by a computer-controlled gyroscope. Back then it was cutting edge technology, which helps the table stay level, no matter the motion of the ship.

Video Arcade

Video Arcade

This room is especially for kids and teens although parents are welcome to join in the fun. They do charge for the games although they also have some free play events, where all games are free. If your kids are interested, they will need to hold a SeaPass card, which will then be charged per game. It's probably a good idea to set a budget for them ahead of time.
